Allow for recovery of erased emails from back-ups
Please restore old emails! No notice given; have been on yahoo mail for 20 years; emails from deceased parents with family history gone! It would be a great option to have ability to recover erased emails from back-ups. I use Yahoo email for long-term content & historical tracking, with other email for day to day and another for work. Yahoo's unilateral decision to erase my data has left me at an extreme loss!

Is it just for frontiernet.net addressees or all yahoo customers. Can’t see a reason they can stay in business if they cannot fix this possible hack or incompetence, or both.
I actually feel sorry for the company’s employees. They could at least explain the cause for the disruption.
The longer this lasts the greater the damage to the company and its employees’ reputations. I will lose important documents but they will get less valuable over the months/years. Hopefully friends can do searches to contact me rather than think I blew them off.

I have two Yahoo accounts, you deleted all the emails in one account but not the other? Why did you delete my emails, I need them for work, school and to access personal communications! I can not access the receipts to the orders I JUST PLACED TODAY! Unacceptable, please correct immediately.

I am so sorry to hear both of your situation. I just found out that all my emails were deleted and I lost a lot of memories but also important documents. I haven't seen any option to restore emails :(

I am in the same situation have not been able to log in brother who talked me in to opening this account so we could chat back in the day on yahoo chat passed away 8 years ago. Finally able to get mail open to look back at was I thought was going to be a nice walk down memory lane only to find NOTHING! Please let me know if there are any solutions!
