Search email by date or sender
It is important for me to be able to search mail by date and from sender. Currently this isn't possible like in other email programs.

Advanced searches for phrases
It used to be possible to do an advanced search for phrases by putting quotes (inverted commas in British English) around the phrase. Now it searches for each individual word in that quoted phrase separately, making the search results useless. This applies to both paid an free accounts. Please restore this functionality so I can actually find things I'm looking for.

attachment previews
All attachment previews are not working for weeks. They all return the error "'We are having trouble previewing this file". File type doesn't matter.

Please return my previous email settings. Unable to scroll now
You changed my email format and now I am unable to scroll down to see what I want to read and choose which to delete. You purposely did this to sell me your upgrades for yahoo and I am not buying... Give me back my former settings for my email account.

Respectfully, Yahoo Mail customer service is IMPOSSIBLE for receiving help because no solution occurs UNLESS I pay. Not fair. F grade!
My problem: The default appearance of my left column email folders is NOT correctly spaced, but no help navigation tactic works to fix it. I am ONLY able to fix the alignment and appearance for the "in box" and "send box" rows for email. Solution? Please send a link with directions. BETTER, how do I sent a screenshot to show you my problem? Your customer service help is hidden...poor...and I do NOT wish to pay for a simple problem that should be easy to fix by myself.

BLOCK ALL EMAILS FROM SENDERS WHOSE ADDRESSES START WITH n-info
All e-mails that come from addresses which start with n-info are SCAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY NEED TO BE BLOCKED FOR ALL USERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Message Tabs Setting
The settings to display message tabs is reversed?
If I select "On", the tabs disappear.

Yahoo change new email looks, its very annoying, can't view all emails in Inbox. Worst update I ever seen my life. Change it and put it back the original looks and functionality.

option to remove search history and top contacts
I would really like an option to remove search history and top contacts from the search bar. I can remove the search history through some horrible one by one process, but when I reload the page they simply are there again. The top contacts can't be removed or edited at all. I think this is a privacy. Please let me permanently remove these entries.

If you are going to split all of my e-mails up into separate tabs, Please highlight the tabs that have new mail in them.
There are now five tabs in which an e-mail can be catagorized, but you get no indication which tab has a new e-mail in it. Please highlight tabs that get new e-mails instead of making me click through each one to find new e-mails.

Putting some new messages into inbox and some into "All Mail" SUCKS!!! It's horrible. You've ruined a good experience.
Being able to make different folders is great. But having YOU decide which folders new messages go to is IDIOTIC!!! Yahoo Mail was simple and convenient. NOW, you are diverting some new messages into All Mail, and some new messages into Inbox. That's MORONIC!!! All new messages should go into Inbox. Then LET US DECIDE where to put them. How can I get it back the way it was?????

Allow access to emails and attachments that are older than 6 weeks.
Every email I have older than 6 weeks just says "We're unable to load this message. Retry". Attachments are showing up in searches but aren't able to be previewed, forwarded, or downloaded.
Aside from fixing this issue, another major improvement would be for the help and support pages to not just be circular links with no answers to anything. Maybe even a support email.111th ranked -

search box
Search box quit working. It keeps saying error occurred. It has been like this for at least a couple of weeks now. I use that a lot, so very upsetting.

Autosuggest has stopped working. Why? Others have the same problem , but there is no help.
Give us some help for when autofill / autosuggestion stops working. If I can't fix this I am changing email provider - major hassle.

Signature option
Need a signature link like your competitor hotmail has. I have a signature saved in hotmail account for personal use, for professional use. also for offices I hold in my fire department, EMA etc. Yahoo needs this option.

Yahoo Mail search function does not accurately work and especially on the first try
The search function of Yahoo does not work properly, major issues with it. Currently, if I search for a specific email address I have sent to, about 80% of the time, the response is "There is nothing to see." but I know there are emails I have just sent even today.
Then when I do the same search 2 or 3 times it works.
However, on any search, Yahoo does not accurately display all emails for that particular email. It is very inaccurate.
In addition, when I search for the content of an email, for instance I was searching for…

Please remove the priority button from my email you cause me to miss all my emails thanks ! that feature sucks!
By removing the priority button so I stop not getting my emails -- it doesn't work on my phone and please end it!
