Add Origin via IP address Tracking
Comment section on YAHOO has been overwhelmed for some time by trolls, bots, & bad actors. I am NOT suggest you moderate or censor your platform more. However, you COULD let your users make intelligent assessments regarding what they are seeing.
A simple addendum to users' icon or name - flagging country of origin and/or VPN usage by tracking IP addresses.This would be a quick and relatively easy 'fix'.
Per the TOS everyone accepts without reading, YAHOO does collect and track IP addresses. You just need to make it transparent to the users.

Why are you censoring by deleting my posts of warnings to people about spambots that appear to be sanctioned by yahoo? “Claire” is the latest. I report them to you and your way of thanking me is to delete my posts.
Or is YAHOO the spambots?

What is with all the 1 post copy and paste stories with links to malware sites? 1 post and over 100 likes in just a minute or two.
Now you have deleted and blocked me from posting to your spambots.
By the way - you still have me blocked and censored on my very old ID. What’s with that?
