It would be nice if the sources we chose to EXCLUDE would be honored by yahoo.

Remove commenting rights of people who display troll behaviour
I constantly see nasty comments bringing the trolls out to play again & that’s what got yahoo to the place before where comments were taken away.
Some individuals are the problem. Take away their commenting rights & please don’t punish the rest of us because of them

There does not appear to be a way to view peoples response to your comments. Yahoo continues to disappoint with their page.
There is no way to see peoples response to your comments. You can see that someone replied but no matter what I try I cannot see their response. Yahoo continues to disappoint not only with their high school education level writers but their dysfunctional website. Time to change to Verizon.

My yahoo account keeps me signed in for 2 weeks, which i love wish there was an option to keep me signed in for longer.
Keep me signed in for longer.
Also every time yahoo signs me out. I have to reset my password, because yahoo claims I have tried to many times to sign in. When in fact I only tried once. First time, with the correct password, then it makes me change my password. Which then I have to reset password in all devices. Not a time saver!!!!!!481st ranked -
Yahoo users shouldn't have to see ads of toenail fungus if it makes us gag. I clicked "remove ad" but it keeps coming up
Yahoo users shouldn't have to see ads of toenail fungus if it makes us gag. I clicked "remove ad" but it keeps coming up. There's no more information to give here, just be mindful of what you're advertising and how

How about fixing the comments not realizing I AM signed in.
Seeing the comments come back was kinda nice, though, the censorship is WAY over the top. Not to mention, the comments section can't seem to figure out that I am signed in. Even clicking the signin button several times, re-entering my username/password, it STILL won't figure it out. I know yahoo isn't the top of the heap when it comes to tech, but, a few teenagers with a zero dollar budget could do better than what I am seeing here.
59th rankedThank you for your feedback about the comments section. Could you let us know what article(s) you were accessing when you encountered the sign in issue?

replace ClosedWeb (i.e. OpenWeb) with a genuine impartial moderating service
Idea: replace ClosedWeb (albeit OpenWeb) with a genuine impartial moderating service that is not obviously skewed to ban all users that relate from a Christian view (not sure if happening also to other belief systems as muslim etc as have not seen any persons from other belief systems posting complaints of censorship). This service has a committed agenda to immediately target any who make mention of Christian terms as Bible, Scriptures, God, Jesus in respectful ways that uphold the faith, speak from such a viewpoint, bring this to the conversation as the way a user relates to any agenda, article,…

Comment censorship
Thanks for giving your community back our comments board. However, if you are going to "reject" a comment based on its content, tell the user exactly what your censors objected to. Surely even an automated censor bot can isolate and provide said "inappropriate" wording or sentiment. Otherwise, how can anyone figure out what ticked your censor(s) off. As a 31 yr veteran of IT development, I know you can do this easily enough. Just sayin'.

Geographic Locations
Why do you put in local and regional news stories without listing the location? Are we supposed to be psychic now? In the old days of newspaper journalism, every story began with the location such as:
SHEBOYGAN WI - Luigi's Italian Restaurant celebrated it's twenty third year in business....
Why is this impossible for "journalists" to include now days?

I want to read feedback to my comments on articles and respond. I cannot always do that. It's a very difficult process to navigate.
I want to read and respond to comments on my responses to articles, so far the process is hit or miss.
