WHAT'S NEW?
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders. 
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Drag and drop messages to folders - Just click and hold on an email message, then drag and drop that message into a different folder. 
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Search by sender in the inbox, not the search bar.

    I want to use as little movements of mouse and keystrokes to search. At the right of an email in the (More...) area you could search emails by sender yesterday, August 13, 2025. It has now changed to search by subject line. Why would anyone want to search by subject line? Bring back the search by sender! Prior to either of these changes, the search button was just right there on the left side of the sender.

  3. Mailboxes list

    Rather than require the user to hover over the current mailbox on the bottom left and then select the mailbox they want to view, why not just list them all out on the bottom left and only having a "+" whenever the user has more than 5 or 10 mailboxes?

  4. Navigation

    This is not an improvement for the customer at all. Just moving the furniture around doesn't improve anything. Put the Left menu bar back the way it was. Took 5min to find the **** spam folder still don't know how to empty it with one click. This version sucks people.

    I HATE THAT YOU CAN NO LONGER COLLAPSE THE ADS ON THE RIGHT HAND COLUMN!!!!!

  8. I need for the accounts/mailboxes to show up without requiring an additional click

    I need for the accounts/mailboxes to show up like they did with the previous UI, without requiring an additional click in the bottom left corner. THis is driving me absolutely nuts!!

  11. MAIL BOX STORAGE

    The payment options for increasing storage do not allow anyone based outside the US to make payments by credit or debit card. Kindly update this as sending a notice to stop the email service in 30 days without any payment options is somewhat problematic.

  13. I Want to See a Numerical Number of Unread Messages Immediately When I Open my Inbox, Not Hover Over the Inbox Icon

    I want to be able to see the number of unread messages when I open my inbox. I should not have to hover over the inbox icon to see them. My newer Yahoo Mail account has this feature, My older Yahoo Mail account does not. Please make the number of unread messages instantly available when the inbox is opened for all new Yahoo Mail accounts! Thank you!

  15. Allow users to pay the same fee but keep the old format

    Instead of switching to the flashy new format, how about an option to keep the old format and pay the same amount? I understand Yahoo's need to increase income to offset costs, but I've been using this format for well over 10 years! I like it, and I would like to keep it. If I have to pay for the new flashy format, I'll have to find some other Email provider. I don't like the new format. Seriously.

  17. Snooze option

    Please give us the ability to snooze an email (make it disappear from inbox, move to a "special" folder) and come back automatically in the inbox folder after a customizable period of time.

  18. print icon on email menu list

    Who I open an email, there's many option for/ reply, stars folders, trash, spam, another one or two but not Print, I have to hit the three ... to see print function. I would like the print icon on the primary screen, I'm sure that would have more use than several of the icons now showing, like the star.

  19. Remove the unsubscribe option when hovering over the email title

    The unsubscribe is located in an odd spot, and I've clicked on it too many times for it to be useful. Return it to when looking at the email. It's more useful there since I can check out the email and see if it is actual of value to me
