Thank you for your feedback! Yes, we used to have a bunch of themes, but they were never used from our Community. More than 90% of our users kept the default theme, therefore with high upkeep and very low usage, we made the decision to not support it and keep our themes simplified.

You're an e-mail service... stop trying to gamify email. Wow. What loser millennial do you have working for your marketing/R&D who suggested streaks? Listen to your developers if anything, to actually make your platform better, not that idiot. All you've done is create more noise and clutter and make email somehow more annoying?
Clean, simple interface, better tools to filter/cleanup email. I don't need it gamified, I need better search and select tools, mass e-mail delete tools you morons.

You Can't Improve
New Yahoo Mail is terrible. It's obvious Yahoo cannot improve mail, so please give an option to go back to old mail. New Yahoo Mail layout is terrible and extremely slow.

this version of the new yahoo mail is absolutely horrible. you are about to lose a longtime user. this new mail is unacceptable, way too slow and takes too long to load.

I want the one with color
When I sign up for a new email for Yahoo, it gives me this awful bright white one instead of a color. It's terrible. I want the color one instead of the white, and dark is blinding. Change it back?! Now?!
We have simplified our themes. Reason being when we had all those themes and backgrounds, the majority of our Community always kept the default. Therefore with high upkeep and low usage, we made the decision not to support all those themes. Keep it simplified. Thanks!

The "NEW" Yahoo mail hurts my eyes. Please revert my email account back to the old email.

Make Classic available again.
Accidentally updated to New Email. Can't think of one thing I prefer with New over Classic. Now I can't get back to Classic. (Old is still available but also no good.)

Custom colors and themes
I have literally been using Yahoo Mail for maybe 25 years, or perhaps even longer. And with just one move, you have stripped all the soul out of my inbox. I hate this soulless, plain white or black page. Why did you do this? You have all the resources to keep both versions available. I'm truly on the verge of losing all hope in Yahoo. Honestly. I don't complain any of the notification clutter of your website but... You shouldnt force your long-term, loyal users into this.

Awful design of the new email for desktop. Fire the designer !!!
Awful experience with the new layout. The right hand pane is absolutely useless and I can't remove it at all. I want to have the option to go back to the Basic Email layout, I don't like the new one.

Desing for dummies: 'No email selected' info that covers half of the inbox
Such a bad bad bad design... And the worst of all is 'No email selected' info that covers half of the inbox!!! All together the layout is not user friendly, the font is to big, the proporsions of the importat features (mails, mails, mails, mails) and the who cares features (left toolbar, adds,bolded font...) are the same!!!! They should strip the designer of their degree. Not to forget - and to fire the decision maker who thought there was a need to change anything, finally selecting this layout!!!

Give us loyal subscribers the choice on the email layouts espcially since I did not request to change my preferred layout
By forcing us to choose between the New layout that cost $ & the Basic which is very slow ans unattractive to use you force me to consider l;eaving for Gmail which is more user friendly. I did not request to change my email layout
