Group email in inbox by date.
The old version grouped emails in inbox by date. No, I don't mean list sorting. I mean each date has a date header, and emails for that date are underneath it. It provides a clear visual separation for all emails from that date. For example I can quickly glance at email subjects from today and be done, because I would know that I have already seen the ones from the day before. I am aware that dates are listed in the column to the right. I'm saying the new redesign is functionally a downgrade, it is not as well organized as the previous version.

Yes, we 100% know what you mean! You would like to see the Headers back in your Inbox that were labeled as Today, Yesterday, This Week. We did replace that with Inbox Categories: All, Priority, etc. We will share this with the team and see if they'd add it back if you disable Inbox Categories and go back to having one Inbox. Thanks.
