Wiped out history?
Why would I keep using yahoo if you wipe out my entire history of emails after a period of inactivity? I used yahoo mail for over 20 years and this is how I am repaid. I kept my inbox fairly clean and low amount of data, I went through period of over a year away from the internet and come back to decades of records wiped out. I want my messages from 2007 Iraq deployment and my recovery key for my bitcoin wallet from years ago. Where was my notice?

If your account has had no activity for 365 days, then the account is deactivated. We communicate this a few times which includes sending you an email to your alternative email account, so make sure that is updated. If you need help reinstating, contact our CC team at help.yahoo.com. They have the tools to help with these issues. Hope this helps!
