Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

Horrible!!! You can switch to BASIC mail by clicking on the tree horizontal dots at the very bottom of the left column that has Inbox, Spam, etc and choosing "settings". A new window will pop up. On the left, choose "Switch to Basic". But I want classic! Basic sucks too but it's better than this new sh*t.

you nailed that. only thing they needed to change was a way to block spam easily like you used to do. don't know why they spend the time and money to change something that didn't need change and annoy users.

Could not agree more. It makes me want to search for an email server that is more user friendly. I'm exhausted by the take or leave world we live in. Why was this a priority? Give me the option of which version works best for me.

I am going to delete my account with YAHOO mail. It is very hard to navigate. You can't pull up pictures on email that is recieved and the PHOTO file at the left has disappeared. If YAHOO can't give an option to go back to the old email system. I will be deleting my account.

Switch to Classic version and it will be a little better. I did and it is better than the new version. At least you will be able to tell whether an e-mail is read or not!!! I had that posibility and I´m doing much better. the classic version doesn´t have a dark mode but I don´t care I can see the e-mails!

The new version is terrible!!! Can't find items, attachments easily. Sorry Yahoo, but this new version SUCKS and I HATE IT!
It's hard to read, it's harder to navigate, you made it overall WAY LESS user friendly! You used to have keep classic version as an option but can't find that anywhere. Please return the old version.

Could not agree more with this User comment. Not user friendly. No way to clear your page of the box of "starred" emails. It stays there even if you don't use. This in turn crams your emails into the left side of screen. Hard to deal with. At least giving us the option of keeping the old version would have been nice. I also will be looking for a new email platform

Allow us to go back to the old format and stop thinking you have good ideas, generally you don't!

I agree 100% You can´t tell whether an e-mail is read or not. This new version is awful! besides you can´t change background colors, you can´t do anything to change the appearence. Please let´s go back to a better version, one that is new but keep the old features please!

I agree with Jocelyn, this version is terrible, quite possibly the worse ever. I have to click more to get where I want to go, IF that even still works, and the window "real estate" is like it was designed by a 2-year old!
Oh, and SPAM, for YEARS I have skimmed my spam folder deleting those messages in bulk after having done so (I get about 50/day) BUT I'm not gonna waste my time deleting individual messages because you broke the bulk delete capability.
THIS is EXACTLY WHY I refuse to subscribe to online services - the user interface changes are ALWAYS WORSE than the previous UI and for the most part - ALL user concerns fall on deaf ears because some **** nose know-nothing has decided that is what's best for the rest of us. Oh, and it also disrupts business workflow when a sudden NEW UI is thrust upon folks. Just such terrible planning and revision control processes these days, and people are all clamoring about "AI" - folks, We are actually getting FARTHER from TRUE AI than we ever have been with the way I see software development going these days - it's all about chasing the FAD deJour, nothing about substance! ...and Yahoo is right there with the no substance crowd. Just my .02 worth. -

Agreed. It is HARD to read and see things. Also hard to navigate to my folders and it's not user friendly at all. Go back to classic version! I kept Yahoo as my email, even when everybody else went to gmail, because it WAS easier and had more options and features. Also the colors and themes. I was able to pick a color theme that was easier to read. Forced black/white or just dark/light themes are a lot harder on the eyes.
