Photos View
There used to be an images or photos folder on the side that showed you all the images in your emails all together in a collage of thumbnails.
It was a critical search feature to my work.
Now, I know I can click on the advanced search function and click the "photo pill" but that does not help at all.
Sure, it sorts out the emails that contain photos, but it does not display the images unless you click into each individual email, so you have no way of locating the picture you are looking for quickly or easily. You literally have to dig through your emails one by one instead of seeing all the images at once.
Why would you take this simple feature away? It is impossible to search for a particular photo without spending hours now.

I loved clicking on photos on the side and up came all my photos since 2002. I clicked on attachments on this new look and only a few came up not the history....

The old version had an icon in which you could look up all of your photos and I really appreciated that. Is that gone now?? I can't find it?

We used to be able to access our photos that we've been emailed and now we can't

In the classic yahoo mail inbox, there was a way to easily see all of the pictures that were attached to emails. This was very helpful. Not all attachments are pictures, so searching for emails with attachments isn't the same. And searching for emails with pictures is different because a lot of spam (or bulk non-spam) has pictures in the body, so it's cumbersome to sort that way. I just want that 'photos' button under 'views' back!

There used to be a way of seeing all attachments and specifically pictures. Now I don't see any way to view that list in the new email version.

The new user interface is really bad. Not intuitive. Not easy to organize. Specifically, you used to be able to easily find all of your emails containing photos. The photos were viewable in gallery. Now, it's impossible to see which photos are in which emails unless you manually open each email to see what it contains...So dumb. It's embarrassing that you would downgrade your user experience this much.

This is critical for me. Do you still have my photos somewhere?

I had a page of photographs that I would click on the icon and the page would show up with these photos. It is gone. I use this for work, when an email comes in with a photo, it would transfer the photo in the email to this icon and I click on it, to view or send to someone else in a new email which could be 1 month later. I can not go back and search all the emails for these photos. Please bring this back!! What happened to my page of personal and business photos. I need those back right away!

Yes, we have shared with with our team and though we won't bring it back to the left hand column, we will make it looks very similar (like the old version) in the search box. Stay tuned!
