The New Organization of Inboxes Is Terrible
Hello,
You recently implemented a new method of organizing my inbox that divides my emails into various categories: Priority, Offers, Social, Newsletters. Unfortunately, whatever method you use to identify which emails go into certain categories is frequently incorrect, to the point where I have had important personal messages identified as Newsletters and Offers several times. Worse, the inbox defaults to the Priority messages, many of which are not a priority for me at all, meaning I have to navigate away from one inbox to view a specific categorical inbox, or the All inbox.
The load times for switching from one inbox category to another ranges from 1 to 10 seconds or so. Even then, switching to one inbox category and waiting for it to load doesn't mean the new message that is supposed to appear there will. Sometimes I have to refresh the page, or navigate away and then back again.
The way you've implemented this also means I can't opt out of it and go back to the original Yahoo! inbox.
In short, you've made your product worse, much more cumbersome to use, and forced technology onto users that does not work as intended and sometimes does not work at all. I can only assume this means you've opted to use AI.
I doubt this message will get to any sort of leadership at Yahoo! but I just felt like I had to say my piece. I have stayed with Yahoo! for two decades now because the site was simple to use and always worked. You took away the two best things about your site. ...Why?

We encourage you to read at the top of the Uservoice header (forum). There we provide What’s New, Coming Soon and some Tips. There we mention how to disable Inbox Categories: All, Priority, etc. Definitely read those as we update them with useful information. Thanks.
