Give me the option to sort my inbox by who the email is FROM! Very, very difficult to manage my inbox without this feature.

Yes, you can do this, David. You can sort or even search by sender in this new version, just like the old one. This hasn't changed. In order to see Sort By Sender as an option, you need to disable Conversation view under your Settings. Once you do that, you will see sort by sender. Thanks.
