In my Yahoo Mail Plus inbox I frequently select several email to delete them or mark them as spam. However the box to select an email is rather small, so I frequently will go into the email detail screen. And when I go back all selections are gone, which is annoying, especially since it happens with alarming regularity.

Example: In my inbox email list I have already 10 emails selected and on the 11th email my mouse click slightly misses the checkbox, so the screen navigates to the email detail screen of that 11th email. When I go back to the inbox email list all selections are gone and I have to start over and reselecting those emails.

It would be very helpful to make the selectable area of the checkbox bigger, either by making the visible square bitter or by padding the selectable area with extra white pixels to make it bigger. That would mean that misclicks are much less likely.

Alternatively you could change the area that navigates to the email detail screen on click, by limiting it to the Subject and Email Header column. That way a click next to the checkbox wouldn't navigate to the email detail and I could simply try to hit the checkbox again when clicking.
