Please improve Yahoo Scout before implementing it in real life as it had real world damaging impact on me
I have a disturbing experience to share. I wasn't aware that Yahoo Scout summary was inserted into email and is not part of the email sent by the sender. I had an upcoming flight through Delta and Yahoo Scout generated this message that I pasted below:
"Your Delta Air Lines flight reservation is confirmed with confirmation number GJ965P, departing from Boston on Saturday, March 14 at 10:30 am on flight 450, and arriving to Las Vegas on Saturday, March 14 at 11:30 am on flight 451, with options for in-flight services and Wi-Fi.
Note
Download the Delta Air Lines app for check-in, bag tracking, and airport navigation. here
Check in for your flight 450 with confirmation number GJ965P.
Connect to Delta Sync Wi-Fi for free streaming, browsing, and messaging. here

Summarized by Yahoo Scout"
The times generated for my flight by Yahoo Scout were completely made up and incorrect and as a result I was under impression that Delta Airlines changed me to a different flight, as my flight was actually leaving in the evening and not morning!
I started booking an extra hotel night; Vegas show tickets and changed hours of car rental as a result! This mistake had serious implications financially, and caused me a lot of distress as well. Please stop the AI summaries before they are ready for prime time and cause real world damage to email recipients. Instead of AI helping me it was highly damaging and I don't want it to happen to other people.
Sincerely,
David Prokop
