The new Yahoo Mail desktop design is a significant step backwards. It wastes screen space, makes navigation less straightforward and forces an unnecessary right-hand pane into the layout.
What is particularly frustrating is that when I try to gain more room to view my messages, Yahoo promotes Mail Plus at £4.99 per month to remove adverts. Users should not have to pay £59.88 a year simply to have a cleaner, more practical email layout.
Please restore the option to use the previous Yahoo Mail design permanently, or allow users to remove the right-hand pane and unnecessary clutter without paying a subscription.
