I understand that you have to compete with Outlook but I found the original look of the mail was the best look and layout. I just want to see my mail in descending date order with the newest first. Okay you have that, but I don't need to make everything into a conversation group. It is that way now with the replies. It seems harder to see my emails and manage my contacts then it was before. I have the spacing between messages set at compact but now they are spaced out. You should of kept that option. The right panel should be optional and if not wanted (which i don't), then have the icons move to the top of the message block like it use to be. Sorry I want more room for the sender's name and the subject.

You searching of the mail for a word or phrase doesn't work at all and for being a search company first you would think that would work. I hate to say this but your new look, looks like you stepped back to the 90's early 2000. I prefer the original look as it was compact and gave you all the tools needed to manage your emails. It seems that now the emails are a secondary thought, if not more, to what Yahoo mail was/is. Poor programming and theming.
