right click to open email in new tab. this is essential but as it shows the megaminds behind the new ****** interface havent used the old yahoo mail at all. Bring this feature back, if you even care for simple UI functionaity.

We did not get rid of that ability....

You can enable multi-tasking tabs by going to your left hand navigation:
More > Settings > Appearance > Multi-tasking Tabs
