Switch back to classic and most important bring back the Yahoo Notepad
Strong Feedback on the New Yahoo Mail
Bring Back Classic Mail and Notepad!
I primarily use Yahoo Mail on my computer, and I am extremely disappointed with the new version. Instead of improving the user experience, this redesign has removed useful features, reduced flexibility, and made my daily email workflow less efficient.
Here are my main concerns:
1. Notepad has been removed. This was one of Yahoo Mail's most useful and valuable features for me. I used it regularly, and its removal is a major step backward. Please bring Notepad back!
2. The calendar panel on the right-hand side is gone. Having my calendar visible alongside my emails was convenient and helped me manage my daily schedule. Why was this useful feature removed?
3. The new interface is far too wide. The layout takes up too much screen space, and I cannot adjust the view settings to suit my preferences. Users should be able to customize their own workspace.
4. Switching between connected email accounts is no longer straightforward. Managing multiple email accounts has become less convenient. This functionality should remain easily accessible.
5. The ability to expand all email conversations at once has been removed. Grouping emails by conversation is useful, but being unable to expand all messages at once makes reviewing email threads unnecessarily time-consuming. Please restore this option.
6. There is no option to switch back to Classic Yahoo Mail. This is my biggest concern. Users should have the freedom to choose the interface that works best for them, especially on desktop computers.
My most important requests
1. Restore Classic Yahoo Mail on desktop computers.
2. Bring back Notepad as soon as possible.
3. Restore the missing features and allow users to customize their email layout.
Please understand that a redesign is not automatically an improvement if it removes features that users rely on every day. A modern interface should improve functionality, not take useful tools away or force everyone to work in the same way.
I am asking Yahoo to listen to its long-standing users and provide a genuine choice between the new interface and Classic Yahoo Mail.
At a minimum, please give desktop users the option to switch back to Classic Mail, including the return of Notepad.
I use Yahoo Mail because it has been a practical and familiar tool for my daily communication. Please do not make it less useful by removing features that made it valuable in the first place.
