Day Headers
Please bring back the header for each day that shows the date, so it would be easier to see what emails are received each day, instead of one big list

Show inbox messages separated with headers by date ("today", "yesterday", "this week"), in the same way it used to show up. The continual scroll is impossible to parse. I can't tell what came in yesterday that I still need to respond to.

Please restore the date-group separators in Yahoo Mail.
The previous interface automatically grouped messages under headings such as Today, Yesterday, Saturday, Friday, Last Week, Last Month, and Earlier.
This made it much easier to navigate and locate messages, especially in folders containing hundreds or thousands of emails.
The new interface displays one continuous chronological list, which is significantly less useful.
Please restore date grouping as an optional display setting in the new Yahoo Mail interface. This was a valuable feature, and removing it represents a significant loss of functionality.

Bring back day headers. The new inbox is one giant monolith and it's terrible. At least give us the option to break it up. This sucks.

Please restore the inbox date headings: Today, Yesterday, Last Week, and Last Month. These made it much easier to scan and organize messages in the previous interface.

On the old version you had the emails sepparated (with a physical space) by weeks / months / years. That should be brought back.

Bring back the Categories that split emails by time they were in the old formatting set ex "this week", "last week", "last month" etc. Currently, the one solid list with this ugly bubble formatting that every company seems to be obsessed with makes it hard to find specific emails. Now instead I have to search for an email line by line like a dictionary instead of scrolling to the general time period I got the email in.

Okay so
1. Please never make a rollout a) forced and b) with no way to go back, it's a good way for people to eventually start assassinating your employees or leave a bomb at your HQ (or just stop using your user-unfriendly service, for the less violent persons). There is zero ******* good reason for the old Yahoo layout to be gone, and for us to have to be forced to eat the dogshit you shovel into our mouths. And "forcing users to accept something we know is bad, so we're not even giving the option to switch back", is just generally uncool behavior that's deserving of a great many slaps.
I will never understand why companies don't grasp the notion that user choice is not a bad thing, and preventing user choice when you previously offered it is one of the premium ways to fail as a company.
So yeah, I'd like for you to put it back and stop acting like twats; and if you don't, well I do lowkey hope one or more of your buildings collapse one day. Maybe on the head of whoever decided this was a good idea.
K? Thank you! 💜
2. Now, the new redesign *is* generally dogshit, let's be real. The older one I was using was compact, cozy yet airy, with emails a neat line that didn't take up much space, and was very much usable; this one is just "Gmail's bad ideas, but also taking Outlook's bad ideas, so now it's just a worse version of both - cluttered, harder to navigate and harder to parse, and just generally hostile". But if you're going to absolutely force us to consume this nonsense programmed by a team of monkeys on ***** directed by *****'s own asscheeks, at least don't retire features that are good.
Such as: the old date separators. Where are they? I don't want your blob of garbage, I want the emails from the last week cleanly separated by day, as it was before.
If I don't get this, I do think I will switch to Gmail (after using this for nearly 20 years as my main email, mind you), because this **** is so *** that there's no justification for it
