Please return to the prior UX design for the browser client
You have missed the mark on UX design in your new browser-based email client. Gamification should be an option that can be turned off; I don't need/like/want it. I also can't wait for compact view as the font is absurdly large in the current version and it is difficult to discern bold (unread) message from read (not bold) messages. Please return the toolbar with action buttons and do not make me navigate into a message to apply actions like reply, delete, etc. You have also wasted an incredible amount of screen real estate on, well, nothing; there is substantial blank/dark space in the UI that could be used for something that add value. New is not necessarily better, and I'm left wondering why the prior UI left your UX designers wanting for change.
