The new design is objectively terrible. I am on a computer. With computer screens. Using a keyboard and mouse. The new design assumes I'm in kindergarten and using an iPad with applesauce-covered fingers. Everything is bloated for no good reason. I used to be able to glance over 10+ emails even in split view, and check and delete without having to scroll for five minutes. Now I'm lucky to get a glance at 3 emails (if an intrusive ad doesn't push my messages further down the screen) and I have to scroll and click and scroll and click and scroll and click and waste a ton more time just to do the same task. It's miserable. It's poor design. Now, if there was at least the OPTION for me to revert to a more condensed display, or if there were MORE CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS as basic as adjusting display text size and padding between messages, I'd have less issue with this design change. You've even removed THEMES! Basic COLORS! I could code a more robust HTML website when I was in middle school, and you're a decades-old internet juggernaut in 2026—there really is no excuse for this atrocious design downgrade, and the deletion of all user customization (AND ACCESSIBILITY) options.
