Please improve Calendar readability and usability
The new Yahoo Calendar design has significantly reduced readability and made the calendar much less practical to use.
Previously, it was easy to distinguish appointments and events at a glance thanks to different colors, such as red, green, and other visual categories. With the new layout, everything looks too similar, making it difficult to immediately identify what I am looking for.
The new design is also much less functional. To find a specific appointment, I now have to open each individual day and read through all the entries one by one. This makes checking the calendar much slower and more frustrating than before.
Another very counterintuitive choice is placing the appointment time on the right-hand side. The time is one of the first pieces of information users need to see, and moving it away from the beginning of the event makes the calendar harder and slower to scan.
One improvement I do appreciate is the possibility of scheduling appointments at 15-minute intervals, rather than being limited to the hour or half-hour. This is genuinely useful and should definitely be kept.
Please restore a clearer visual distinction between events, with more visible colors and an easier way to identify appointments directly from the calendar view without having to open every single day.
For me, Calendar and Notepad have always been two of the main strengths of Yahoo Mail and two of the main reasons to keep using the service. Now Notepad is gone, and Calendar has become much less practical to use.
The previous layout was much clearer, faster, and more user-friendly. I strongly hope Yahoo will reconsider these changes while keeping the genuinely useful improvements, such as 15-minute scheduling.
