Action Icons, Sender Email, Preview Availability
It would be a better user experience if the action icons (reply, forward, mark as unread, star, move, delete, mark as spam) were back up at the top of the list of emails, instead of within the email itself. Also, leaving the sender information at the top would free up more space to see the actual preview of what the email is about. The new way takes up more space away from the ability to see the preview of the body of the email, which forces the user to scroll down to know what the email is about. When you do scroll down, you only get 1" of viewing space, which is not adjustable. That forces you to completely open the email to read it, making the preview option unusable.
