If you aren't willing or able to continue offering Yahoo Classic, at least give your older users the option to turn off the features that make the new look so annoying for some of us. The layout is way too busy, and feels like an assault on the senses. The colorful "sender" icons before each and every email are completely unnecessary and very distracting. There is too much white space between emails, allowing you to see only a small number of emails without scrolling, and the difference between the read and unread emails is far less evident in this version. Also, there are no longer any divisions for day, week, or month - just a huge slew of emails with no breaks, making it harder on the eyes and much more difficult to refer back to something you received earlier. Finally, why would you remove the option to block all the spam senders from the spam folder in one fell swoop? Very disappointed in this new version and the fact that it's now pretty much a "like it or lump it" option. I've read a large number of posts/comments on this subject that echo my own feelings, so I sincerely hope that you will take your longtime users' feelings into consideration and give us the option to view our email in a cleaner and clearer environment.
