At the bare minimum the consolation for a 10 team six playoff bracket league needs to be fixed. The four consolation teams not in the championship bracket should not all be on byes the first week of the playoffs. This is just dumb. They should play out their consolation bracket week 1 and 2 of the playoffs, and that third week of the fantasy playoffs should be reserved for those teams that earned it, the teams playing for third and fourth, and the championship.

Kickers are getting better, so a 50 yard kick is more like what a 40 yard kick use to be 15 to 20 years ago. And another tier for kicking points: 50 to 59 and 60+.

It's not so much about who your team is picking, though it is an issue when you need to auto pick. It's more about everyone else autodrafting, and you can't change everyone else's priority and do not draft list.

No, it only works out if EVERYONE is autodrafting. If one or more teams are not auto drafting, then the mock is NOT realistic and does not help you out with what will happen in your real draft, and quite frankly is worthless.

Yeah, the poster is obviously aware of that. They are saying that Yahoo shouldn't fill all starting positions before picking any bench players, as anyone who has more then 1 year of experience knows that your first player off the bench is WAY more valuable then your starting def/k.

It would be like IR, commish could determine how many reserve spots each team gets.

For keeper leagues it would be cool to be able to have an inactive developmental roster spot or two. Basically at the end of your draft, the league has one or two rounds of picks to pick players to stash for future years. These players can't be used in your active lineup until activated, and once activated, can't be moved back to developmental list. Also you can only have x number of active players on your roster, so to activate someone from this list, you would have to drop a player to make room. For keeper leagues this would give you the ability to speculate on a position for a couple years and see what could happen, without affecting your active roster and weakening your team this year. Christin Michael would be a good example of someone to put on this list. You can still have a full active roster to choose from each weak, but stash him for when he gets an opportunity down the road.
