If both sides of the discussion are presented, at least that is a step in the right direction regarding providing content that is even-handed and will potentially expand Yahoo's viewership.
Besides, there are more than two sides to a political discussion and Yahoo would benefit from recognizing that by presenting the various sides so readers can form their own conclusions.
Many people do not scour the Internet seeking alternative viewpoints-- this is an opportunity for Yahoo to develop a one-stop viewing experience to bring new perspectives so people can safely browse and grow in their understanding and their own pace and potentially expand their world-view beyond their echo-chamber.
