Please Quit Putting Feeds to "The Daily Beast" and "Mediaite" on Your Main News Page
Neither of these organizations have any claim to calling themselves "News" outlets. They are one-sided opinion pieces that belong on an opinions page. Please quit cheapening the "News" page by including these hacks on it. AP, Reuters, Wall Street Journal, Fortune, etc... are examples of reputable news organizations. It's really not that hard...

Remove the comments section on all of your news articles
The comments section no longer provides any value to the news reports being served by the site. It has become just a place where people throw insults at each other and a platform for disinformation. It is filled with bots, trolls, and other agitators. It is no longer a platform for free thought.
If you want people to have a place for comments, make a BBS Don't link it into the news reports. Try to compete with Reddit.1041st ranked -
Opt out of levels and streaks
It would be nice to have the ability to opt out of the "levels and streaks" pop up on Yahoo news. It's really annoying.

Comments section after each story is not working.
Why is it that when I click on "comments" at the end of a story, it just disappears? The other day it said you couldn't load any comments. What's up? You don't want to hear what your readers are saying? Did Trump get to you, too?

Suspected Coordinated Troll and Bot Activity in Yahoo News Comments
Hello Yahoo Team,
I am writing to raise concerns about the integrity of the Yahoo comments section across news and political articles.
I have a very strong impression, after reading the comments on the following article and many others, that a significant portion of the activity may be driven by coordinated, low-quality, or potentially inauthentic accounts:
https://www.mediaite.com/media/news/trump-pocketed-at-least-1-4-billion-in-the-past-year-shocking-ny-times-editorial-reveals/Many comments appear repetitive, emotionally extreme, dismissive of factual reporting, and aligned in ways that suggest organized trolling or bot-like behavior rather than organic user discussion. This pattern significantly degrades meaningful discourse and undermines trust in the comments platform.
I understand the privacy…

Provide actual news stories -
Might as well call this site "Buzz Feed Promotions" or "The Daily Beast Central" - these are not news organizations or even news articles on your "News" site. You can do better .... but I don't expect much to change.

Stop Censoring our Comments
You refuse to post people's opinions even when they're not offensive or using bad language. You should be sued for censoring our first amendment rights. Don't post the option to comment if you only accept what you agree with

LET PEOPLE ACTUALLY COMMENT WHEN THEY TRY TO AS ADVERTISED
I was about to comment on a story about the exodus from California...I believe my first comment after 20 years of being a yahoo account member, as I was typing my first sentence...apparently I was stopped as commenting "HAD ENDED" after 335 comments. I have seen comments with tents of thousands of comments before. WHY WAS I STOPPED FROM COMMENTING? ACTUALLY YAHOO HAS GOTTEN SO BAD, SO UNUSEABLE I WILL BE LEAVING SOON! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! MAYBE YOU SHOULD ACTUALLY ALLOW PEOPLE TO COMMENT WHEN YOU ADVERTISE THAT THEY CAN,,,WHAT A NOVEL IDEA!

Enough of FOX, please. They don't even try anymore.
Right now, there's like 10 FOX 'stories' of utter nonsense posted because they know they can. At least make them follow some guideline of ethics to post anything. I don't see any of the other outfits posting so much. Not even close.

Dark Mode for Yahoo Home Page please
I see where I can enable dark mode for Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Finance, and Yahoo Fantasy.
I found a post that talked about a settings icon on the Yahoo home page, and either that article was wrong, or the settings icon is not easily discovered at all - nor does the Yahoo Help indicate that there is such an option.
I'm heavily considering using another home page than Yahoo, since it's the only one that I cannot get working in a Dark Mode and it's glaring white pages strain my eyes.1041st ranked -
