Why would you tell people who might be considering suicide the name of something that would help them kill themselves?
Your article: Lawmakers Press Amazon on Sales of Chemical Used in Suicides is the epitome of irresponsible journalism. You should have left the name of the chemical out of the article for the safety of your readers.

Proofreading would be good.
For instance, in the article I was reading about covid. You have a list of states/cases. Guam and Puerto Rico are not states. If you are going to list them oh, then you should say States and/or territories.

Why do you only sporadically allow comments?
Why do you only sporadically allow comments? Instead, you show this message at the bottom about your goals on showing comments. You should always allow comments.

If links cannot be embeded, then they should be enclosed in parentheses to demark them from the text..
An article from Reuters was filled with links supporting the content. The original article on Reuters had the links embedded, as is usually done. Apparently, Yahoo was unable to do this, and instead just placed the links in the flow of the text, which made for very difficult reading. These should be placed within parentheses, or somehow otherwise delimited so as not to obfuscate the flow.

Since you have stopped allowing commenting on news articles, instead you should allow readers to simply rate the article without comments.
Yahoo, you should be in touch with what readers think of your articles. If you don't want commenting, you should at least allow readers to give you their opinions on the accuracy or quality of the articles. You could have several kinds of opinion categories, or just let readers send you comments that are for your info only. Just so you know how people are reacting to your news articles. I see some good ones, and some really dumb ones. I'd think you'd want to know how you're doing.

Bring back the news screener
I haven't used it in a few years but I seem to remember that Yahoo had a news screener. You could enter people or companies you were interested in and the news screener would notify you when a new news story was published.
What happened to that and can it be brought back?1040th ranked -

Different opinions
In your military service members leave for refusal to accept vaccine mandate. Good. I'm a former army infantryman of 12+ years of service with multiple deployment to different countries with viruses and plagues and more and yet it seems like the only opinions you wanted to print was non service members... when does a service member get a voice? I believe this is a one sided approach to things and I wish Yahoo would improve.
Very Respectful,
