I and many others have headphones on when on Yahoo, so when I started the clip of the wolf and elk, it BLASTED MY EARDRUMS AND MAY HAVE DAMAGED MY HEARING. Yahoo should not be posting clips that play at full volume with NO CONTROL to turn it down. If a clip comes that way, fix it or don't post it. I am serious about that possibly damaging my eardrums. Look in the comments and you'll see that a bunch of people complained about that BLAST.

4. Longer commenting periods

   I believe that the 3 day limit for commenting on articles is a bit short. I myself find that especially on Mondays that many articles can no longer be commented on and I'm thinking here I am wanting to comment on this article but because I'm away the weekend I can't. Many comments are made on Fridays and if I miss them on Monday I have to let it go. I believe that 5 days would be much better and give more people a chance to have their say. I read Yahoo news everyday except the weekends and very often I find an article closed and I don't remember having seen it at all. I'm sure it was there for three days but three days goes fast on the net. Things are going fairly well and I don't see why we need to be mother henned as much as you are mother henning us.

9. Small Town Photography Team Taking the Art-World By Storm

   My name is Amanda Ray. I wanted to reach out about a potential arts/culture story in Yahoo News.

   To tell you a bit about myself, l'm half of an internationally renown husband & wife photography team stationed in the small country town of Florence outside of Jackson, Mississippi. We have spent the past three years documenting historical sites, forgotten forests and cemeteries across America with our vintage medium format film camera (a dying art to say the least). In this, we have met with tremendous recognition in the arts and have had the opportunity to publish nearly 70 photographs in Vogue Italia, putting a creative spotlight on the southern landscape and its unique history.

   For background, my husband and I both come from extremely troubled upbringings. We're abuse survivors that went from being homeless after a family betrayal left us destitute, to being internationally renown artists. In 2019 alone, we were forced into homelessness by our own family, lost everything, and had to give up our jobs to care for my mother while she was on life support in a coma. Due to the trauma, I was diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety disorder, panic disorder and was hospitalized over 50 times with panic attacks. It was an uphill battle, but through our art, we were able to heal. And not only that, we were able to achieve our wildest dreams. We did all of this with unfailing hope, a focus on mental health, and a dedication to the arts. We would love to get the word out about this as we feel many people would find this story both interesting and inspiring.

    In the titles of your articles, you emphasize words by putting them into blue. Those blue words are very hard to read. Use something else to emphasize those words that doesn't make them harder to read.

    Good morning Daniel Klaidman, Lauren Johnston, and Colin Campbell. Today is a good day, or at least that is what we tell ourselves, so we can push through the haze of reality. I have a question for each one of you. Mr. Klaidman your Editor in Chief, that's a very powerful and important role in life. You have overcome many challenges not only in life, but within the field you work in, correct?

    Mrs. Johnston, Head of Programming, very impressive. Programming is not for the faint of heart, countless hours of staring at dull white screen. Most likely, you've developed light sensitive eyes. The countless of headaches behind the eyes..... and who can ever forget the nightmarish days of creating a new program with DoS.... I still have nightmares about DoS....But still even through the "dark years" of Yahoo. You somehow managed to stay a step or two a head of ICQ, MSN, Hotmail, AoL (until y'all bought them out), even Myspace had less usage than Yahoo Messenger. That was not an easy feat back then. I applaud you for overcoming the countless DDoS attacks, and the few crashes of Yahoo.

    Mr. Campbell, I'll be honest, I'm not for certain what a Managing Editor does exactly. So, I don't have much to say about your field. I won't pretend to know what your job entails, when I don't have the faintest of idea what exactly it is that you do. that's just be ignorant of me. For all I know, you could be an overpaid, glorified secretary. I'm not trying to be rude, just honest. But, like I had said at the beginning, I do have a question for all 3 of you.

    Have you three forgotten, keeps you employed? I'm not referring towards who writes your checks. No, unfortunately that could b a countless different number of company's; what I'm referring towards us, you know the people that keeps Yahoo afloat. The reason, Yahoo was able to start stocks. Ya us. Now granted, y'all have overcome countless obstacles in life to get the title that y'all have now. But we still made you. Just because you have earned some impressive titles, does not mean that you are entitled to dictate our God given rights. You are not God, as far as I know, none of you three can walk on water.
    We all are human, correct? As humans, we are prone to make mistakes from time to time. That is how we learn, and the only way to gain wisdom. I made 1 mistake that went against the community guidelines, instead of getting the chance to correct my error, my entire comment had been removed. I found this rather interesting, mainly because the person that I was replying too had broken 18 of the 20 community guildlines.18..... I am still baffled almost 2 hours later, at the Logic, over this whole ordeal. I made one mistake, and I attempted to correct the error that I had made. and I was denied the ability to fix my mistake. The person that i was responding to their comment, had their post up for 6 days, and is still currently up. They broke 18 of YOUR Community Guidelines, and not just once, or even twice, but 3 times they directly broke YOUR Community Guidelines. 6 days later, the direct violations are still up. But over 1 minor mistake, my comment was removed in less than a nanosecond. You know, I used to tell myself, just because we can make a Firesail, doesn't mean we should. We are not gods. It's like a Pandora's Box. But then again, maybe that what we need. Like resetting your NeS in the early 90's, because we couldn't beat Bowser, without changing the way we did things. I'd honestly hate to see technology become our downfall. Technology is a good thing, but not with the mindset that you three have. You have the knowledge and the ability to help fix things. So what say you? Do you keep on playing hacky sack with Pandora's Box without a care in the world? I assure you, when Pandora's Box breaks open, and it will. The world will not be prepared. Within a blink of an eye, we go from everything that is normal, everything with a JavaScript, that's roughly what, 9 billion different devices that we use every single day, from pacemakers to our vehicles, to a digital watch. To being stuck between the Bronze and early Industrial Age.
    Folks are getting sick and tired of not just you 3 per say, but the mindset that you 3 have. Technology was meant to help humankind, it was never meant for people like you 3 to play God.
    Food for Thought, Yahoo is not the only e-mail service out there. Yahoo's stocks haven't been doing well over the past decade. It is never easy to be a beacon of hope, or a leader on a new path.

    However, it does take more effort to pretend that you care, than it does to just be 100% fair.

    Just this morning you posted an article stating that the royals have determined that Pres. Biden would be permitted to have his own car to attend the funeral of the queen, and when I sign on again a couple of hours later you state that the President would be unlikely to oblige UK travel rules. Your headlines have been filled with junk regarding sports and celebrity frippery and repeated for days. I have been inundated with spam emails that when reported show hundreds of other yahoo users that are subjected to the same. At one time I considered yahoo a good news source and was pleased with the email system but lately it has been terrible. You have even discontinued the auto-pop on email addresses to entice users to pay for yahoo plus! What has happened to yahoo? It is no longer a dependable experience!

    You're right about the increase in drug related deaths, but I don't think you are right about the reason. It is my research that the increase is mostly due to the pandemic. There is no evidence that there are anymore people who started using drugs but the people who already had problems were now isolated an less able to get any help.

    It is unconscionable the number of women and girls who are attacked each year in Mexico. They are attacked by criminals and Mexican officials alike. Yet, most Republicans don't want them to come here even though they would be going back to more of the same. How is it fair for us to send them back?

    The birth rate in general has actually dropped to its lowest point ever.
