Stop over criticizing so much content. The use of AI may make postings faster, but mostly just makes people upset.
Widen the parameters used for deciding if a posting is harmful. I posted to the following article: "Charlotte on edge as immigration crackdown nets 130 arrests in 48 hours." I was responding to a comment from Dobbie. First attempt was just to the point of, "Glad to Harry Potter." REJECTED why? Second attempt, Happy to help.' REJECTED why? Shauntel Hudson is not the mother of Anna Kepner She is the mother of Anna Kepler’s step brother the one that is being questioned for her murder… that woman was not a mother to Anna she’s the reason she’s dead because she didn’t raise her actual kids right. I would change that part in your report because I doubt her actual mom would want to see this women who never looked out for her kid to be called her mother. It’s just so wrong

Please include location of news items
All stories should include the location (state or country). Putting a random city name is inadequate because there are many cities in the country that have the same name. No one memorizes tv station letters in this day of cable and satellite, or the newspaper names when so few read newspapers, so that information in a story or headline is no help. Where is the news happening? In my region? In my country? Does it affect me?

YHou have some bugs in your advertisments
Twice in the last 6 months I have clicked on an ad in yahoo news. I did something in the ad and it sent me to one of those defcon sites where there are sirens and warnings, and you are locked out of your Pc. There is a number to call to get your computer back. I have to force sop my Pc. You would think that you could trust Yahoo. I am never clicking on an ad in yahoo news again

Leave the original yahoo news format alone, don't try to keep improving things people are used to and comfortable with.

Your "reply to" does not work properly.
After receiving an email showing someone's reply to one of my comments, when I click on the blue "Reply to" box, it does not take me to that comment. You seem to have a software problem here.
