Please add FO = FW - FL as a scoring category in head-to-head leagues. This is an important statistic, as it indicates how many net possessions a player gains for his team on faceoffs.
Using only FW as a scoring category is insufficient, as it tells only half the story. Likewise, using faceoff win percentage as a scoring category is not ideal, since it is skewed by non-centers who may take only one or two faceoffs per game.

Been a year since this was suggested and we still only have basic scoring options. This should be totally customizable.

What is the purpose of having a player in the penalty box creating positive stats, when he is making his team play short handed?

Combine them as a category. You're the only platform left without this option.

I would love the ability to change the scoring setup for different positions.

Wait where'd this random post come from about all these scoring by Grady. This was an entire thread based on FG kicking. Lets not lose site of that. His post should be somewhere entirely different.

One of the main things that differentiates defenseman from forwards is the amount of TOI that they put in. To make this work as a category it couldn't be cumulative for the whole week- rather you would take the top 10 (or top x amount) TOI performances from one team vs the top 10 (or x) TOI appearances of their opponent and add them against each other to decide the winner of the cat for the week (for H2H).
This would keep it from getting devalued through something like streaming or a weak schedule and I think it would be a way to add more value to time-eating defenseman that many people have been looking to do without the double-counting of the stats for forwards since the forwards with little exception aren't going to give the highest TOI performances over Defensive players in most lineups. -

A viable option. Next to the percent value I would still like to see the very valuable numbers of the actual won/total numbers my players got in sort of a grey kind of like they do with TOI so ie-
FO% 79 150/190
And some sort of minimum FO's to be taken that can be set by commissioners so a guy who flukes with 10/11 can't win the category without really competing in it. -

I'd vote for this post if
Punters
were the only requested change. -

Still "gathering feedback" over 2 years later? Let me help: people want this! I would love to have this along with the faceoff won/lost stats, and I think it makes perfect sense. If we have shots against, saves, and save % for goalies, we can add faceoff %.

Basically it would be the same as 10yds = 1 point. With fractional scoring it'll be the same as RB and WR. So a 43 yd FG you would score 4.3 points

But yeah i fully support 1yd= 0.1 points. I hope Yahoo seriously considers this for 2016

60+ yds would be included, cause you'd still be getting 1yd= 0.1. For example 63 yd FG would be 6.3

Can we just do .1 pts for every yard over 30, that way it's still a minimum of 3, and 60+ yard FGs are included too

I would also like to give bonus points for a GAME WINNING FG.

Is it possible to add Punters to Yahoo Line ups? My league would like to expand the kicking game.

I've been wondering about this exact issue for years. I think it is extremely important. A 40 yard field goal is way different than a 49 yard field goal and should be treated that way.
At least give us the option to have decimals for kickers or not. Many of the third party fantasy football sites use this (FleaFlicker). I don't see why it is so difficult to implement.
As a Yahoo Fantasy user since 2006 at the age of 12, I think these types of ideas are necessary for Yahoo to implement to stay at the top of the industry.
