Calendar Issue
Please go back to the old calendar where 2 hour appointments would be highlighted. The little dots are challenging to older eyes.
Also, when I click on a day on the calendar, it should be automatically populated as the start date. Currently, if I click on a specific day, some other odd day may automatically be filled in. This should not happen.

Calendar - events cut down to a few characters not making any sense
The issue is not only related to printing but also viewing of the calendar on my laptop. All that you see is a limited one line of the event. The calendar when accessed via my phone looks fine. Hope this can be corrected please. I can not tell what is what looking at the calendar as it is now

Please provide an option to go back to the classic view in calendar
I want my calendar changed back to the classic view - I hate the new updated view it's terrible. I hate how the events are shown and the colors no longer fill the event - there is a dot or an outline which is totally impossible to tell which color is which with both these options. HATE IT

Jan 2026 update to Calendars - Please REMOVE the changes!!!
Changes to my calendar display on my desktop were just loaded. They are awful!! I cannot see all the daily tasks in the Month view. I use this calendar every day to organize current and upcoming tasks. PLEASE REMOVE THE LATEST CHANGES.

PLEASE. allow in calendar settings a way to set the default, opening view to the user's choice of Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly view.

Allow default opening setting in calendar
Allow a setting to have a choice on the view in which the calendar opens, The weekly default view is useless to me. I want it to default to opening with the month view. This is really annoying and seems like it should be a basic option to have.

Yahoo please put the calendar bac the way it was. If its not broken do not fix it.
I don't know what happen but when I click calendar I have to click MONTH each time then I add a event & now it has other stuff comes up & I can't get to it its like having 5 other steps ITS AWFUL. Could you pleas put it back to the way it was. It's bad enough I'm old & have bad eye site & bed ridden no this. thank you

Month view in calendar
Why after defaulting to month view in calendar for decades are you insisting on week view? Where can I change this? It is so annoying. I now always have to change to month view manually. The day strips are too long and can't be seen. Please change this or give me the option to set default to month!!!!!!!

Yahoo calendar
I'm using the old yahoo email and when i get into my calendar and create a new entry it doesn't show the type when i choose color. I've had case number 29498419 open for weeks now

New calendar colors reduce the usefulness of the tool.
New calendar color blocks around the Calendar entries. All the offered colors are dark with little contrast to the black text. The previous color outline was more useful allowing the black text to be on a white background. A calendar is a tool, not a work of art. Go back to black text on white, or white text on black. Remove all low contrast colors.

Please bring back the old or similar to it light blue option for the calendar entries. I can barely read the light black print against the darker blue and I hate the other color choices. They're all to bright and glaring which make it very distracting and make it hard to read the print. It's fine if you keep all the new options but please also offer a more muted pastel option. Calendar default view should be in our control
The monthly calendar default was perfect for me. I don't know why someone thought the weekly option was better. Were people really asking for this? Now I have to constantly switch to monthly view. At the very least, make it a customizable option like so many other aspects of Yahoo Mail.

Problem with recent change to Yahoo calendar
I have been using yahoo calendar for years, suddenly both on my phone and laptop, the default view changed from month to week and there is no way to change it back. The laptop allows me to change the view momentarily to monthly, however, the Android phone is too difficult because the button to change to month is too small to change. I have to try and zoom in to change and then zoom out, very difficult to read. It has been super for years, why did Yahoo ruin this? Why can't I change it back to where it has…

Calendar reminders are being sent to a long inactive email address and cannot be reset
My calendar reminders are generating MAILERDAEMON errors because they are being sent to a long inactive email address and it is impossible to change that. The email address does not exist any longer but I have gone through all the settings and cannot find it anywhere. It was mentioned here: https://www.reddit.com/r/yahoo/comments/11xmivu/yahoo_calendar_email_remindershow_do_i_specify/ and yahoo-customercare asked for an email address of the person to send instructions - I think I need the same. Calendar - US Holidays - Jan 15 is MLK Jr. Day, not "Idaho Human Rights Day
Put only federal holidays on the Calendar as US Holidays. Texas Independence Day? Who cares? Mardi Gras and Valentine's Day are NOT holidays.
