NCMI Market Cap/Shares Outstanding Incorrect on Morningstar's end - Need Yahoo's help to fix
Hi, I initially reached out to yahoo regarding a concern that the National CineMedia (Nasdaq: NCMI) market cap is being calculated incorrectly using the wrong shares outstanding number from Morningstar. The shares outstanding number is currently not including the company's Membership Units, which make up a good portion of the company's total market cap value. As such, the S/O number is causing NCMI's market cap to show as ~$550 million instead of ~$1 billion, which is more accurately reflective of the size of the company. It's a dramatic difference which negatively effects the company. Yahoo directed me to Morningstar to address the issue and Morningstar just got back to me saying that there's nothing they can do on there end and for the error to be corrected, yahoo would have to contact the morningstar team to assist them in fixing it. I know yahoo is set up so you only have to handle minimal updates to company data feeds, but I'm asking if you guys could please follow up with Morningstar so we can get this issue fixed. There are no other people I can reach out to and this issue is glaring. I've been trying to track down how to fix this for two weeks and could really use some help here.
