Portfolio2.0
Portfolio 2.0 not showing up in web version of finance..how to revert to original?
We appreciate your feedback regarding the new portfolio view. Our product team has reviewed these suggestions are is working on implementing changes. One thing we are implementing is a collapsible dock in the portfolio view so you can view more holding data.

Not always providing accurate quotes in version 2.0 on trading prices. Today Alphabet exceeded $196 per share, but it is not showing this on your price quotes or chart. Highest price showing is $195.68. Please check.

Oh, and could you NOT reduce the currency quotes, such as GBPUSD to two decimals. When I load the page, it shows up in four decimals and then instantly reverts to two decimals.

Portfolio 2.0 had an iinitial share of design errors and bugs, but some of those were resolved and I can live with and except most of the remaining problems. The real problem now is that portfolio 2.0 is absolutely horseradish under the new Yahoo finance update - which has turned out to be a major downgrade.

Like Brian said the totals don't add up correctly, its like they add additional amount out of nowhere???? by that calculation I'm in a negative. SRLY

Doesn't save the sort order now. My portfolio is now locked into a sort order that was useful for a day, and now I can't get out of it. There's a "Done" button that doesn't do anything. Put it back as it was.

Your icons to add and delete are ALWAYS on and HIDING the last column. I may use this once a week or so - and not I have to keep moving my mouse to see the hidden data. And the refresh rates is so slow I keep hitting refresh waiting 30 sec and then hitting refresh, etc. The database is not optimized to hande all of your great "enhancements" I WOULD HAVE FIRED THE DELOPERS THAT ALLOWED THIS WHOLE UPGRADE. Have the guts to admit is was a mistake and reset. Where is the EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP AT YAHOO??

I can't believe anyone thought this new layout was better than the previous layout. It is totally useless and impossible to find anything useful. Also the smaller font even complicated the problem.

Definitely agree with the analyses below. Please go back ASAP. Also have been using this site for decades and find it totally unusable now. Actively exploring alternatives...

And this week I am frustrated by this issue.

This will go down as one of the worst "upgrades" in the past 5 years. I have been using this site for 25 years and the ability to see a number of column on one screen (with compact view) meant I could quickly scan and get the info I wanted. I will not take the time to set up different views to get the same data - and then need to switch back and forth. The system no longer refreshes as fast, changes in layout are not applied to the database properly. IF NOTHING ELSE LET THE USERS VOTE BY RETURNING THE ABILTY TO REVERT TO PREVIOUS VERSION. It will cost more - I understand. But if you are interested in being customer focussed you would admit you screwed up and pay the price. Otherwise its ByeByeYahoo

I'm going to pile on here. Yahoo, did you not do any research on how people use Yahoo finance? Was this redesign something that came out of some group-think committee composed of managers, web designers and artists with no input from those who actually use the tools? Having to scroll horizontally to see all the data on my stocks is ridiculous. I have big monitors because I want to use the space to see all this stuff. The new format renders them useless.
***FROSTY PILOT*** Thank you for your comment below about a way to return to CLASSIC. It took some hunting but I found it on the right hand frame in small print way at the bottom and am back in business.

That’s why yahoo is what they are and Google is the opposite

you had the best page for finance ever created...fire all people in the company who wanted to change it. They are undermining your product...the sports page has been completely balled up now too. Been with Yahoo since the start and I'm considering jumping off.

During this change you have removed the 3 month graph, which I constantly used, and you removed 5 year growth projections, which I also used. Was this intended as an improvement?

What were you thinking with this new version? After struggling for hour to figure out what to do with it I reaalized I could switch back to classic. Today 2.0 is back and I am not able to go back. THis is brutal. Unusable!

you keep going back and forth between previous configuration and latest one, just go back to the previous one, it worked perfectly fine.

I agree that the new portfolio format is less practical when used on an iPad. Scrolling and panning become a nuisance .
The old format (changed yesterday 21st Nov. is less user friendly when trying to get an instant view of a 30 stock portfolio in compact mode which no longer seems to be available!
Side windows are also annoying when you cannot close them to focus on the portfolio.
This is really important for me. -

Important: found in one comment that if you scroll to the bottom, some place on the left or right of the screen there is an option to return to CLASSIC. It worked for me.

The scrolling to the right on portfolios is a killer. Please make it configurable or revert.
