  3. Remove unwanted contacts from email

    There needs to be a way to remove unwanted email addresses from my contacts list. I have a dozen that are either from junk email addresses or they're people I emailed stuff once or twice to but I have no desire to have them in my contacts.

  5. Police/Report Vulgar Spam Addresses

    I would like to be able to REPORT certain spam emails that solicit vile pornographic, sexually explicit inuendos. For example: I see that each time I receive an email from an individual in my inbox from my child's teacher or administrator, when I go to check my spam box for any missed emails, I notice there are A LOT of emails with sexually explicit messages in the subject line or even the sender's name. I would like to report they are coming from addresses ending in appspot.com Please police this address to stop the flood of filth into my spam…

    I'm already signed in! Why do I need to prove I'm not a robot???
    I JUST tried to prove I'm not a robot to get into my history... I just identified buses, crosswalks, traffic lights, bicycles... How many of these G.D. things do I have to do??
    I can't even see what's on the frickin' pics!
    I exited the page! Can't get into my history!
    Please remove the robot feature - this is ridiculous!
    It doesn't provide added security because I can't get into my history to erase the **** list!

  7. Switch to New Mail

    I am not able to switch from Basic Mail to the New version as there is no link or nothing that says 'Switch to newest version of Yahoo Mail' anywhere on the page. I have gone in to the settings and there is no option to switch there either....

  8. I would like a simple email address where i can complain about the way you treat me not having to log in to some forum

    I have just had to give you an alternative email address for security purposes when you already have my phone number, this is completely unnecessary and i want to tell you so but there is no email or web form to fill in a complaint, i have to log in to some help forum that doesn't help. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO GIVE YOU A SECOND EMAIL ADDRESS ITS TOO NOSY ON YOUR PART, KINDLY STOP THIS NOW.

    It’s a good thing to have an alternate email address on the account should something happen to your phone. If you change your number or if you lose your phone you will still be able to sign in to your account using the alternate email address.

    What about the Payable Services for Desktop & Mobile Both. What are the benefits not defined well.

    Defind the advantage of having Payable service with Yahoo.
    Like Add free version, Virus free Secure platform.

    You can click the check box next to the email and use the Delete function on the top of the mailbox list.

  11. Make Yahoo Inbox actually work!

    I can see that I have two new emails, but it takes forever for them to appear in my Inbox – if I need to see them right away, I use my phone. How lame is that?

  14. old format, please!!!!!

    In the email list, there is too much space!!! I can only see have the amount of email as before. On my large screen desktop, it's just an annoyance, but on my 13" laptop and the wide-screen monitor at work, you can only get 5 or 6 emails displayed with the current email displayed on the bottom. Please have more than one version, and have a version with less whitespace between the emails in the list!!

    Deleting messages from the Deleted Items folder no longer works. What a joke. Fix this or I will delete Yahoo Mail from my life (though I assume that won't work either).

    Thank you for reaching out. First, please try clearing your cookies, cache and history: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/sln27197.html

    After that, use a desktop computer/laptop and go to mail.yahoo.com on a preferred browser and follow these steps:

    1. Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon..
    2. Click More Settings.
    3. Click Mailboxes.
    4. Select the account you’d like to disconnect.
    5. Click Remove mailbox.
    6. Click Remove mailbox again to confirm.
    7. Click Save.

  17. Go back to the old contact list format

    It is not clear how to edit old contacts or add new contacts to lists. The old way also allowed you to look up a contact and see which lists they are on. I also can't figure out how to alphabetize lists by first name or last and sometimes the lists appear to be in random order. It was fine before, now it is maddening. Heads should roll!!!

    I keep getting new email indicators even though I've opened up & read the email. This has been going on since you've "updated" yahoo email. Im seriously thinking of moving all my yahoo email to Gmail & deleting my yahoo email account.

    Thank you for contacting us. Please sign in to Yahoo Mail using a desktop computer and going to mail.yahoo.com on a preferred browser. Go to “Settings” → “More Settings” and in the left side of the page, if available, you should see “Yahoo Mail Pro” just behind “Social accounts” feature and you can try it for free.

  20. spam lots and lots of email saying undeliverable

    am receiving 15-30 emails a day that say undeliverable and have been for 6 months or more. i changed my password and yahoo has not helped

    When a sent email is rejected by an email provider, an automated Failed Delivery notification is sent to the email address included in the “From” field of the original message. If you didn’t originate the email that prompted the notice, then someone else put your email address in the “From” field of their outgoing email.

    This act is known as “email spoofing” and is often used by spammers to disguise their identity so that their recipients are more likely to open their email. While it’s not possible to prevent someone from email spoofing, it only means they know or guessed your email address and don’t necessarily have access to your account.
