too many redirects when trying to access email
I get too many redirects when trying to access my email
It can be frustrating when websites don't work the way they're supposed to. If you're unable to access a Yahoo website, but others load just fine, you may be experiencing a DNS issue.
What is a DNS?
DNS stands for "Domain Name System." It's a necessary part of accessing the internet. When you type the name of a URL into your browser bar, a DNS will translate that address into a numerical IP to connect you to the intended site.
How do I resolve a DNS error?
Try accessing the website on another browser or device. If this resolves the issue, you'll just need to make sure your preferred browser is supported and updated to the latest version.
Try accessing the website from another internet connection. For example, if you've been trying to reach the site on your Wi-Fi connection, switch to cellular data on a smartphone.

The last few days I have had to get a confirmation code by SMS while logging in. That is not acceptable. I do not own a smartphone.
I do not own a phone that can get SMS messages. I have to borrow from a neighbor. This is not acceptable. How can I login without having to get a confirmation code every time?
Hi there. If there's something unusual about your sign in or recent activity, we'll ask you to go through another verification step after you've entered the correct password. This helps protect your account from unauthorized access. You may be prompted to get a verification code on your Yahoo app, recovery phone number, or recovery email address for any of the following reasons:
- Yahoo notices suspicious account activity.
- You're using an unfamiliar browser or device.
- You're traveling away from your usual location.
- You sign in while using a VPN or a proxy server.
- You've logged in with a private or incognito window.
- There are many attempts to sign in with incorrect passwords.
- The "First time signing in from this device" message appears.
- You've cleared your browser history or data cache including cookies.
More details here:

Do not require access code every time. Recognizing the computer, ID, and password should be enough.

Hi, Why always one hour delay to be able to sign in my account ? what did you to my account ?
Hi, Why always one hour delay to be able to sign in to my account? what did you do to my account?
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. That sounds familiar. Yahoo may at times enforce a login wait to help ensure account security and privacy. There's no way for us to bypass this in the contact center, so we recommend waiting the prescribed amount of time. It's usually fairly short and you can then try logging in again. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Why do most of my emails go directly to my TRASH folder instead of my inbox?
99% of my new emails goi directly to my Trash folder instead of to my inbox. What the **** is use is an email program that does that?
If you are not receiving messages or you notice your emails are going to Trash you may want to check your filters. Check out https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN15994.html for info on how to check your filters. If you did not set any filters, but they are present, you may want to secure your account

OMG! How CAN'T you improve Yahoo mail is what you should be asking! It is a chaotic mess!
I just replied to an email and it dragged 7 emails (a thread) with it! In my sent bin I can't decern any order or which email I'm replying to in the thread. It's all over the place! There is no order, rhyme, or reason to it. I had to sift through 9 emails to try to find an email address that I CC'd and never found it! Also STOP SENDING EMAIL TO SPAM from people that I've received mail from and even have in my contacts! YOU ARE THE WORST!
Hi, we'd like to look more into this. Could you please contact our Customer Care team at help.yahoo.com and send us more details about your experience?

Hey Yahoo, what happened to the "Block Sender" option for unwanted/spam emails?
Until very recently we had the option of deleting existing unwanted emails and blocking senders of the same email to prevent repetition. Now that option appears to have been removed. Please bring it back!!!!
Hi there. If you reached the limit of 1000 blocked email addresses, the option won't appear for you. We do recommend using this option for real people sending you emails, not spammers, since spammers are usually using spoofed email addresses.

Please stop jumping to next email
Give us a setting that will prevent jumping to the next message if using the down arrow to scross down a message. The scroll bar is so tiny it's hard to grab.
We'd like to hear more about this issue so we can better assist you with it. Please contact our Customer Care team at help.yahoo.com.

Due to some recent changes designed to improve the safety of our platforms and member privacy, we’ve made the process to create App Specific Passwords more secure. This can result in some difficulty when trying to set up an ASP from a new device.
Please ensure that you try creating an app password without using an Incognito browser and use a browser where you have signed into that account in the past, for at least a couple of days. If this is not successful, there may not be a workaround; as we don't know if or when this feature will be available, we encourage you to use Webmail or the Yahoo Mail app to access your email.

Tired proving I am not robot
Same device, same location, same browser and I still have to prove EVERY SINGLE tIME I AM NOt ROBOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yahoo makes enough money to have someone at least send a constructive response if not fix the issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hi there. Yahoo uses CAPTCHA verification to protect against spam or other unauthorized account access. By selecting the correct images, you verify you're human and not a spam-sending computer. Excess charges
Came to yahoo help for calendar. They advosed there would be a $1 charge, fully refundable. Now I see they are trying to charge my credit card $55.00. I'm paying yahoo $5.00 per month. I should think that some level of tech support would be included for that charge.
