  2. Search doesn't show what folder the results are from

    When I click 'Search', it returns results from all places/folders, eg: Inbox, Sent Items, etc & any custom folders I have created & moved emails to, however it does NOT show which folder the searched item is found in.

    When I'm trying to filter items & move them to a new folder, I can't see which ones I have moved & which ones I haven't.

    There is no option to only search in one particular place/folder (eg: Inbox only).

    If you look to the right of the search result, there should be either the name of the folder it’s in or the name of the mailbox it’s in. If the latter, you can hover over the name of the mailbox it’s in and the folder location will appear.

    You can search specific folders by clicking on the arrow in the Search bar and editing the “Search in” field.

  3. Deleting Mail

    I want the option to Delete ALL my mail. Which means, I want to EMPTY my Mailbox, it's too full. I hate that I can only delete a 100 at a time, it's too time consuming! Please respond quickly, thank you.

  4. Multiple yahoo emails available to view under one account

    Ability to be able to view or manage multiple YAHOO emails under one general email account. You have the ability to view other server emails (google, outlook) but you can't add an additional yahoo email.

  5. Help! I've been using Yahoo for twelve years. This morning 5/24/2018, the last six years of Inbox content disappeared!

    Does the Yahoo server system maintain a backup of my Inbox, and if so, how do I access it?

    Every time I clean my computer, I need to sign in.

    When I sign in, the drop down shows many email addresses, it doesn't show my yahoo address.

    Yahoo Mail offers a 7-day restore timeframe for emails. Regardless of how old an email is, if it was deleted within the past 7 days, there’s a chance it can be recovered.

    Contacts typically have a 30-day restoration window. If you need help restoring Calendar events, reach out to us through our Help pages or our Forums:

    You can increase the font size of everything on the screen by zooming in on your web browser. Hold down the CTRL key and press the + key at the same time. You can change the composing font size either from the Compose window or the default size from your Mail settings.

    Can't even search and I desperately need to sodding thing to work.
    I am now sick to death of this trash yahoo system. Switching the whole lot across to gmail permanently. It's ****. Yahoo are rubbish and they don't care about improving themselves. Just utter garbage.

    Yahoo mailboxes do have a maximum storage size of 1TB. However, the max message size needs to be under 25MB in order to send. If you need to send a larger file, you can try using a cloud-storage service.

  12. How about a HELP button?!!

    I have no idea how to get any help from Yahoo. Had to click on settings and "give feedback", then get redirected to confusing page, and all I want to know is how to permanently set my font to a medium size.

    Every time I compose a new e-mail I have to click on the font button and change it from small to medium. No way of permanently setting my font preferences.

    Or maybe there is, but I can't see it, and since it's impossible to just ask Yahoo a simple question, I'm now writing this on some weird forum…

  16. Hi what happened to yahoo? i didn't receive any mail!!!

    If you’re not getting emails from a specific sender, it may be because they are sending to the wrong address or they are getting an error message when sending to you. If this is the case, you will need to have them reach out to our Postmaster department to try and get it fixed. You can also double-check your Mail settings and Spam folder to make sure everything looks good there.

  17. important email messages 'not found'

    email messages sent from new (not in my contact list) not found when preforming an email search by sender's name, email address or subject line. One of two messages appeared, but a search still returned a result reading "Nothing to see here"!
    I have added the sender's contact info, and sent him a message, and STILL nothing is found when performing a search.

  18. When I move mails from "sent" folder to some other folder, all the messages show "me" as sender. I want to see to whom I had sent the mail.

    I should have the option of displaying both "From" and "To" info.
    When I move sent items to some other folder, all emails only show sender (me). If I have the option to enable "to" also them it will be very easy for me to go thru the folder and search required email.

  19. Using Yahoo Mail Pro, when I send a message and then go to the Sent messages folder, it still shows it as "DRAFT".

    Using Yahoo Mail Pro, when I send a message and then go to the Sent messages folder, it still shows it as "DRAFT". If I hit the refresh button, DRAFT goes away. But If I click on the message without refreshing, the message opens up in the "writing" mode again, with the SEND button at the bottom. Has it actually sent the message?

  20. Return My past/present e-mails

    I have tried several times to do this. I still do not have e-mail of any kind. At one point I was told that I now use g-mail. Well.... I have never used g-mail and will not use g-mail. I do not care who you have signed up with just return my past/present/future e-mail. I am now going to a friend and sign into the type of e-mail they use as they do not seem to have a problem with it. Glad to no longer be using you. Good Bye. Hope they can get my mail from you.
