How can we improve New Mail?

I would like to be able to edit the side bar on the left. The flashing icons on the left are annoying.

    I need pagination option that works together with preview pane
    Can't seem to find this in any of the views
    I hate infinite scrolling and no option to switch to pagination

    Same problem using IE on both Windows 8 and Windows 10 (both 64-bit).

    While browsing headers when a selection make and pictures shown after a few seconds the preview pane goes completely blank. Time consuming, annoying and incompetent, not to mention the operations are much slower than they used to be.

    Suggestion, get rid of all the fluff and make it functional & reliable. It's mail, not the web....

    Just as of recently, when browsing mail headers, the body would display below. Now the body keeps vanishing completely. Not very good mail functionality anymore.

    Totally agree: I'm using long folder names and cannot see them as before so wish to slide the side of the side bar to be able to read my folder names again..
