How can we improve New Mail?

Having to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to send and email is kind of annoying. Making a static bar would be amazing! The colors are pretty though! The flashing documents button is weird. Not a fan, but helpful feature! Do you guys have anything like Google Drive?

ok, call me a dummy. I found out that using 2 fingers tips to scroll on the touchpad will allow me to move the the message list without a mouse. So that works pretty well, even without a mouse.

Without a mouse it seems impossible to scroll down the message list. My idea is to use Gmail from now on. At least it works reasonably well.

Email still scrolls up when I try to scroll down and read it. Clicking on anything? A major pain. This isn't how mail should be.,

Its already posted and has been for months, so maybe this will be more effective than helplessly wishing and patiently waiting and hoping something will fix it.

I agree 100%. Lots of emails that I receive are too wide to fit in the window and at the moment you have to scroll down to the bottom of the whole email to access the horizontal scroll bar.

So to scroll across to read the end of a line, I have to scroll down to the bottom of the email where the horizontal scroll bar is, scroll it across, scroll back up to the exact line I was trying to read, read the end of it, scroll back down to the bottom of the email to be able to scroll across back to the start of the next line, scroll back up to that line, read the beginning of it and then repeat the entire process above, for every single line of an email. Of course I end up trying to read the beginning of several lines at once, and then the end of the same lines at once to save time, but it's very hard to make sense of an email like this.

The horizontal scroll bar used to be visible all the time so you just scrolled across without having to scroll to the bottom of the email and back. Can we have this back as at the moment it's a really laborious process to real a simple email? It's pretty much unusable otherwise. Thanks.

The scroll bar on the right doesn't work. I can't read an entire email nor when I sort emails can I see all the ones in the list.

Scroll bar on message pane does not work using Win10 CU and MS Edge. I can see it but not grab it. I have to scroll using the scroll wheel on my mouse.

A shop sends me a newsletter with a fixed width. I can't see it all without using horizontal scroll bar, and it's all the way at the end of the newsletter. This new format isn't functional -- PLEASE fix it. There are multiple postings bout scrolling -- if you consolidated the votes, it should be ranked fairly high.

When an email contains tables it can become too wide for the display window. The lateral scrollbar at the bottom is, unfortunately, inside the text window and is only available when you're at the bottom of an email.

Whenever an email is too wide for the text window, the lateral scrollbar should be visible at all times.

Nice layout. However, need to a permanent horizontal scroll bar on the message page so I do not have to scroll to the bottom all the time and then back up again. That can be annoying for very long messages.
Also will be nice to be able to reduce the review pane size when using the "show message on the right/bottom" options
