Advertisement at the top of the inbox items list
Advertisements give the means to Yahoo! necessary for providing the great experience for their customers (us); however, these ads, when misplaced or in the way of normal surfing, can be as harmful as losing user-base (who actually make the advertising possible in the first place).
In light of these comments, I would like to suggest that you (Yahoo!):
1. give the customers (and users) the ability to disable auto-playback of video and
2. apply a different background color to the text advertisement place at the top of the Inbox items list.
Thank you for your great services, Yahoo!

This new version of email is anything but a provision of a great customer experience. And, Planned Parenthood is a deceptive business. I don't care for either. PLEASE RESTORE CLASSIC EMAIL. thank you

I do not find it appropriate for an extremely CONTROVERSIAL advertisement by the Planned Parenthood Federation. They do NOT deserve any funding or donations. This is a very LUCRATIVE company which makes a fortune on eliminating unborn babies. Many people--myself include--are OFFENDED by this organization. The "people" who work for PP brag that their killing operation allows them to purchase Lamborginis, etc. I despise what they do. They lie about providing mammograms and cancer care. Call them yourself. PLEASE do not give them space on MY email. Thank you.

I definitely agree regarding auto-playback. If a user has multiple tabs open, they may not realize why their bandwidth drops.
