I HATE THE NEW FORMAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STOP STUFFING AROUND with a format that is pleasant to the eye and effective. I know that the children who design this rubbish want to try something new and sparkly, just don't include me in it.

I just posted a lengthly and direct explanation of why I was not happy to be forced into this conversion.
At the end of that comment I wrote that I sure hope that the above link to a simple 3 step way to get back, works.
https://help.yahoo.com/kb/switch-back-previous-version-yahoo-mail-sln15936.htmlThe settings button on that page does NOT offer me any way to switch back to the old email client.
Yahoo, my comments to you, to your managers and to whomever sits at the helm of Yahoo nowadays, would be utterly scathing indeed. -

Add me to the chorus of hating the so-called 'new' format. Why don't you focus on stopping all the spam and garbage that gets through daily?? Obviously someone is justifying their exorbitant salary wasting our time with this!!

I am not able to reply to emails. The screen goes back to the top of the email after I open it. It wastes time trying to scroll down. It does not permit me to stop without returning to the top. Not Good

I really resent you trying to force me to switch over to your new format.
I brought up the old email client for a few minutes in order to get a response off to a service provider whom I have been going back and forth with for days now to get a major issue resolved. Instead, I find myself diverted to dealing with a migration that I did not request at a time not of my choosing.
The simple fact is that your new gooey format is more difficult for me to see and thus to use. I could care less for themes or pretty backgrounds or dancing koala bears or whatever.
When you can make the new Yahoo email look and act about 95% or more like the old format, then we can talk.
When the switchover will not require a huge amount of my time just sitting dead in the water, that will help tip the balance.
I sure hope that the link https://help.yahoo.com/kb/switch-back-previous-version-yahoo-mail-sln15936.html to get back to the old email client, works. -

we were totally satisfied with the original Yahoo mail, easily read, clearly printed and quickly accessed.
The newer "mail" have been so annoying that we are about to switch to gmail.
Please go back to the original. -
