How can we improve New Mail?

delayed typing

trying to type or search etc. there is such a delay that half of the time letters are missing or the entire word erases. Yahoo used to be awesome for e-mail, now it stinks

    as others have posted about the system usage spiking when New Mail is being used. This action literally slows my I5-4500 w/32GB Ram to a standstill, I think I could do morse code faster than the typing mail allows!!!! Please simplify the coding and separate the ads from the typing function. this would lessen the system usage and speed typing noticeably...

    I am not sure but you have to fix the typing problem if nothing else. That is the most aggravating problem I have, I'm not sure if it because of windows 10 or the new mail or both. Please fix I do not want to change, will have to if not fixed.

    what are you doing ??? Took forever to type an email .... are you throttling ??? I type a few words , takes 5 seconds to show on my screen .... Do you people even know how to program things ??? You always have issues .... it's ridiculous

    Email typing is delayed and causing grief.

    Troublesome to use. Delay in typing and always hang up. It takes a minute to wait.

    Strange. very slow to accept my typing - Feeling like something is trying to pick up my typing.

    1-When I move or delete an item, the bar telling me I moved or deleted covers up the delete and move buttons and I have to wait for it to clear. 2-Typing an email does what I call "echo" typing. I'll be several words ahead and on the screen one letter at a time slowly appears. 3-When I'm moving items to my folders, the "move" sort list used to stay at the last folder I moved an item to. Now it goes back to the top. Very annoying.

    Typing new email is painfully slow. We can type a sentence and complete a coffee before it shows up on screen. We always have to type in notepad and paste the content in yahoo compose box. Again if we need to edit anything it feels like too much stress.

    I am yahoo user since 1999 and I am stuck that I cannot leave yahoo. Please support faithful users like me who have been with yahoo for 18-19 years already.

    everytime i type an email, it lets me type three letters and then nothing. I have to reclick the message draft box to type again.

    Only get a few words in before it locks up. Considering moving to gmail. This is unacceptable.

    Sell out your email service to a company that can actually do a good job. Not like this service. Changed most of my mail to Gmail but have 2 accounts and using less and less and has gotten worse. No wonder people are leaving you in droves.
