What can be done to stop Spam emails. The more you unscribe the more spam you receive.

I thought I was going crazy! I kept clicking on "unsubscribe", and these were from legit, major insurance, banking, investment companies, etc., It seemed like the more I unsubscribed, the worse it got. A friend of mine who works in programming (coding) told me that this spamming is the direct result of YAHOO! being hacked a few months ago, then hiding and lying about it.
They low-balled how many accounts & how much personal data was stolen. It ended up being that ALL their subscribers' accounts & data were stolen! And they LIED & they LIED like a rug about it. That's why they got rid of that bimbo that ran the company into the ground & then had to pay her TEN$ & TEN$ OF MILLION$ for the HONOR of FIRING HER FOR RUINING the company and fiddling while it burned.
Then the hackers chopped up & sold "our" subscriber info/data and now spammers all over the world bought up our private info, and we're gonna be spammed until we decide to drop our email addresses that we've had...mine, since 1995! No wonder YAHOO! is worth pennies on the shares that were selling in the hundreds of dollars per share back in the late 90's and early 00's. They were the Google of their day. Now, look at those pitiful pieces of ****! They'll soon join Alta Vista, Netscape, Ask Jeeves and even AOL has one foot in the grave along with YAHOO! Good riddance! :-P
