You have asked me if I want to add festive cheer every time I've opened up ymail. Could you not have designed this pop up so that no means no? Bad design!!!

There are far too many pop up ads on Yahoo mail, and this significantly affects the pleasure and usefulness of using Yahoo mail. As a marketing/branding corporate consultant, I realize that Yahoo needs to derive income from any potential source or counter-party but, on the downside, Yahoo subscribers may become increasingly frustrated by the distracting pop ups which inevitably appear when they go to the website to check their mail on Yahoo. There has to be some middle ground. In my humble estimation, Yahoo should allow mail subscribers to "opt out" entirely of receiving pop up ads, and their preferences should be unequivocally honored and respected.

This was a VERY BAD IDEA, The person who convinced you to do these pop-ups should be fired. As a Yahoo user, this is NOT what I think is a good user experience.

If it faded away quickly , that would be ok , then I would have to chase it if I wanted it, but at least I wouldn't have to take an extra step to click it off, don't make anyone have to shoo you off
Always leave without me doing anything -
