Delete single email button.
In the new format the delete single email button was moved to the far right. As you are looking at emails the eye is drawn to the left half of screen. That is where the sender info and beginning of subject is. When the delete button was on the left you eye and your cursor is in that area making it easier to click delete in that area. Now that it is on the far right your eye is looking left but to delete you have to navigate to the far right to delete a message. This causes too much mouse scrolling to be efficient. I have to break my eye focus on the left part of the screen to navigate to the far right to find the delete key. I'm sure there are many good things about the new format but this one thing is enough for me to stay on the classic format.
If you want to delete groups of emails at once, check out our Tips and Tricks post:
Keep in mind that the Spam and Trash folder empty themselves at random intervals throughout the week. To hold onto emails longer, it’s better to Archive them instead. Archived emails are never deleted unless you do so manually.
Sometimes when emails reappear after being moved/deleted or suddenly move to the Trash, it’s due to syncing issues between the account and a mail app. If you access the account through a non-Yahoo app, you may want to remove the account from the device and re-add it to resolve any future syncing issues.
Thank you!

There should be 2 types of "Select All". One should select the entire inbox and the other should select few pages from the inbox. Why should select few pages? Imagine you have 2000 mails in your inbox, but needs to do a clean up of 80 out of 100 from the first page. If you have an option to select a page of 100 mails, you could easily do it. Just select a page (100 messages), deselect the 20 to be retained in the ibox and then do delete. This is not possible as of now and I feel its a big drawback yahoo mail.

I am not being allowed to delete my email photos sent to my pc separately …..as some are not needed or duplicates have been sent . When the email photos are sent in groups to me I need to keep and delete individually . The problem is now effecting my mobile phone since I take and send photos from my phone and my phone is sending me error messages that there is no more space to send or receive messages .

There is an issue in new mail interface that would be great to be changed.
For better understanding will describe the whole way:
1. entering to mailbox an find there 20 unread messages,
2. from the left upper corner choosing the filter select all Unread messages,
3. pressing "Shift+K" (instead of just "K" like in old version) in order to mark them all Read.
And straight after that all this group of 20 emails marked as read BUT they are not selected any more, so in case you would like to delete them, you have to select them one by one manually which takes time and it's extremely annoying.... you cannot use any filter like "select read" messages, because you have in your mailbox previous plenty of emails that you still need and you don't want to delete.PLEASE!!! fix it so after pressing Shift+K selected 20 messages would be marked as read but would remain selected, so you can delete them for example all of them straight away.
Thank you.

In the new mail version, when you select *all unread messages and then now you have to press *Shift+K (instead of just K, like before), but the mail thing is that after *Shift+K all selected messages (let's say 20 or more) are not selected any MORE!!! So if you would like to delete them, you have to select them one by one again. It's taking time, not making life easier as it should and it's annoying...!!!! Please fix it back like it was in the old version.

i found you have to do the click"all" button then scroll down through to the bottom of the list of emails. its annoying and not a proper function. but the only way i was able to delete all 1000 i had accumulated instead of like 70 at a time.

This happens with my spam. I select all and check the delete and block and they disappear for less than a minute and show up again. It's like a never-ending loop. I can run through the same process over and over again and they never go away.

I pay for the Premium Service so I have extra storage space. I don't know what happened, but I had emails saved for YEARS and they disappeared. I like to save my emails for YEARS for work. You never know when you might need it. Now, they disappear after 2 months. What happened? Please allow to keep all of these deleted emails, especially if I am paying for Premium Service.

Make your system work correctly by at very least not unchecking a marked deletion when your system flaws and opens an e-mail one is trying to mark with a check mark for deletion. Over sensitivity and cursor problems on your site are also obvious thing that need further study.

I seem to be in the majority that hates the new format. I prefer the simpler format. Also agree that the ads are insanely overkill. Last but not least, what happened to the setting that would allow my emails from my imap account on my mobile to also delete emails from the server? I do not feel like deleting emails TWICE. My gmail that I use because I have a google/android phone syncs up to what I do on my phone. why not Yahoo?? I am pretty sure it used to!!!!!!

The delete function needs work - in the past few weeks, deleted emails magically reappear a few minutes later and often need to be killed again, over and over (like zombies). It is very great time-waster....!

I think we are thinking the same thing. What about when you have over 10,000 emails and you can only delete 100 at a time. I think they should do something so their account holders can delete all at once.
