How can we improve New Mail?

Show total number of unread emails next to folders

Show total number of unread emails next to folders. This way we don't have to view the folders to see if their is any unread email.

    EXACTLY!!!!!

    I want email that does the job, simple and functional, NOT looking like it was designed for a 6th-grader's tablet.

    I kept the old format until a Firefox update forced the email inbox update.

    I don't know who screws their users more with changes, Yahoo, or Firefox...

    I agree. This is very annoying. Do I have to open the spam folder every day to see if there are emails which AREN"T spam - of which I've found several. Come on Yahoo - get this fixed ASAP!!
