How can we improve New Mail?

    Restore full contact info. It has taken me years to gather info and i cannot send out cards today as I relied on service that I PAID for. That can easily be changed. Not even a warning, shame on you. That is very poor customer relations, to say the least.

    The new Yahoo Mail Contacts display in the right panel of the page has several serious deficiencies. Some of them are:

    1. To display all the contacts each alphabetical segment must be expanded individually.
    2. Editing the contact note field is difficult because the entire field is not displayed. Also, when the enter key is hit the contact is saved rather than adding a new line to the notes.
    3. Searching the contacts sometimes shows entries that are not in my contact list. Also, The search does not show every contact that includes the specified keyword.

    The old contacts format that displayed all the contacts in their own tab, or window, was vastly better. Please restore the old contacts format.

    This new format is HORRIBLE. I need to change around people on my distributions lists quite a bit and edit doesn't allow the option..HELP!!

    It's obvious, that you will NOT return to the classic email that was perfectly alright and user friendly. So, if that is the case, at least give us back the old contacts list format. This new set up really sucks and does not allow me, to gather additional info that I had stored in each of
    my contacts listing. It was an ideal spot to put addresses, addition phone numbers and so on.
    Maybe the next time you people get a brain **** to change something, maybe you should get input from those that depend on it. I'm totally sure, if that was done before hand for this change, and you listened to us, we would STILL be using the Classic Version.

    Why don't you tell people clearly how to do things when YAHOO makes a change. I had NO IDEA how to select a specific contact list . You need to consider that not everyone is a 14 year old unafraid to experiment. To get my anger I had to GOOGLE IT!!!!!

    It's not letting me edit or view the whole details of my contacts. Please fix this.

    What a bunch of ****.. How in the **** do you UPDATE existing contacts??? You have totally destroyed the flow of this mail program.

    I wish you guys hadn't changed the formats. . . .but when you do. . .please complete the process. You changed contacts and
    DID NOT provide for a way to continue using the List options. Please fix at earliest. nr.

    We are an HOA in which we use Yahoo listings to correspond with Residents. Your new format doesn't allow us to add new residents to our individual list. How or what is the information we need to be able to add new residents to a current listing?

    Also was able to pull up name,[first or last]; address or phone number in search of our listings. Seems now we can only pull by name.

    What must be done to able to use the system as we did a couple of weeks ago?

    New Contacts List is awful. Contacts is so much more confusing. I can't seem to add contact to a list I already have. How long will I have to wait for it to be put back the way it was? I keep a record of the people I deal with for my business and how much they spend and the month they bought something from me. It was all in my contact lists and now I can't add stuff like that. Please help. Sounds like the best thing to do is to go back the way it was. Why do you change things? Are your employees bored and want to mess with people. If it was at least similar to the old way would be fine but its not.

    Based on the comments below and their date, I take it nothing has changed as far as being able to edit contacts. Also, Top and All have different contacts in them. Why doesn't All actually show all my contacts??

    I hate your new format. It doesn't let me edit my contacts and they are hard to view. Please give me basic mail.

    Before I could have contacts on multiple lists. For instance, Family and a Boating group. That way I can email someone included in the Family group and on other days the same person might be in my Boating group.
