I just started with Yahoo Mail, and I love it . . . except . . .
I have all my previous contacts in a CSV file, but they can't be imported into Yahoo - why? This is important, yet a previous feedback on this subject has been closed without explanation - why? -

it appears you have removed the ability to import contacts from a csv. your instructions online describe a way that is not available. there is no option to import from a file...

I just received several vcf cards from family members, and tried to import them, but it seems that this capability has been deleted. I am a Yahoo pro subscriber, and have been a subscriber since yahoo mail started (yes, that long). I don't understand what Yahoo seems to want to do with this service, but it seems like they want to make it so bad that the subscribers all go away and they can then just shut it down. And I haven't figured out how to download all my emails into storage yet, so I would lose everything.
Very disappointed with Yahoo. Too many large companies decide that they have to pander to financial organizations and not to their customers.

A BIG thank you to everyone who complained about losing the ability to import CSV contacts to Yahoo. I'll stop tearing my hair out looking for a solution. Maybe moving to a different host might be the way to go.

I handled this through GMAIL in five minutes. What in God's name made you decide to break Yahoo mail in this way?

SERIOUSLY. You got rid of a one of the MAJOR FUNDAMENTAL USES of any MAIL CLIENT. Managing contact lists. FIX this.
