  3. Can't filter search to only look at email in Inbox

    I can no longer search for emails with a filter for just the inbox. I don't understand why this changed in your update. Also, while we are on the subject I would really like to be able to revert back to older version. It looked and worked alot better. Is there any chance of this happening?

  4. Frustrating password authentication issue with no help from Yahoo Chat support

    I have had yahoo mail connected to my iphone mail app for years with no issues whatsoever. I regularly check my yahoo email on my phone and through my Edge browser. A few weeks ago, I started getting failure notices in the phone mail app but was still able to access it through the Edge browser. To try to resolve it, I reset the password, confirmed that I could still log into the browser and then tried to reconnect to my phone. Kept getting the password failed message.     Please add the ability to create custom filters that assign incoming emails directly to Yahoo Mail's built-in categories: Primary, Offers, Social, and Newsletters.

    For example, I want to create a rule that always puts emails from my bank in Primary, promotional emails from selected retailers in Offers, and emails from specified mailing lists in Newsletters.

    Gmail already supports filters that target inbox categories. Adding this capability would give Yahoo Mail users much more control over how their inbox is organized.

  6. Sender pictures and Font size

    The sender pics/icon round buttons are not helpful; they make the page cluttered and hard to read and focus on what email you want; they are distracting. Everyone should have the option to turn them off, not just people who pay for a different Yahoo email service. Also, can you make the font size bigger on the listing of emails on homepage. Too small.

    I would like my yahoo email folders to ALWAYS be visible while I am browsing my email. It is much easier for me to be organized than to have to pull them up all the time.

  13. SEARCH IS NOT AS GOOD AS IT WAS BEFORE

    IN THE OLD YAHOO, IT WAS A LOT EASIER TO USE ADVANCE SEARCH... FOR EXAMPLE, SEARCHING FROM A SPECIFIC EMAIL... WITH SOME KEY WORD... IN A SPECIFIC FOLDER... I CANNOT DO THAT ANYMORE!!

  14. Go back to the old mail!

    Okay, the extremely dumbed down basic mail is better than the "New Mail", but why can't you put the buttons (like move to trash) on top? Having to scroll down and up is difficult with neurologically impaired hands! (And if you think that is unusual you are not in touch with the current health crisis.)

    And making me agree to yet another gigantic list of terms of agreement just to be allowed to post this idea is yet another unreasonable task! Like every person has the time to read and understand this garbage just so they can post an idea?…

  15. new interface sucks, please give us the option to put it back

    I hate the new yahoo mail. Why can't we switch back to the previous? it seems every year you change it and it's honestly worse. It seems you are trying to copy google and I hate gmail. Please give us the optiuon to go back to what we have loved for some many years...I'm a long time user...basically from th start. My wife and in laws hate it as well and even my kids who do not use yahoo don't like it. It was fine just the way it was...

  17. Display format of inbox day/date - lack of distinction between days

    How can I change the New inbox to show each day as separate sections (like it was previously)? There are no day-dividers in the new Mail, which make it a total pain in the derriere when you have to scan down all of the dates to try to find the first email of today's date, as the New mail has a complete lack of distinction between the days/dates.

  19. Gear setting missing since 22nd October 2026 - can't change background colour of email

    somebody needs to look into the yahoo mail platform. The default colour is affecting me since I have trouble seeing black on white. The gear setting missing so chan't change. Can't attach screenshot because you don't allow. There's hardly any human support for this platform. Unfortunately, can't afford to change email since it is what is everywhere for me..... and too may places to change the email.....it's a humble request for colour vision imaprment people
