The search function needs to step up its game because it is clunky and too repetitive. If I am in my inbox for a specific email, then when I search for an email in my inbox, that is the only place it should search by default. I shouldn't have to go into the advanced search and specify (AGAIN) that I want it to search in this email's inbox since I was literally already there. And when you are managing multiple email addresses, it can be confusing when my search pulls emails from other email addresses without clearly identifying them as different emails.
