Provide a way to monitor storage used
You've told me today that I have a maximum of 15Gb of free storage, and kindly informed me that I haven't already exceeded that. But you haven't told me how to monitor my usage. That is surely a basic requirement if you are going to impose such limits.

I am aware that Yahoo is introducing a cost for storage over 15gb. I have recently deleted from my folders and my trash 19,000 emails. This has had no effect - it would appear - on my storage total which is still listed on my email account as 18.3gb more than 5 days later. I don't understand how this is possible.
I have been in touch with customer care four times and they have sent me template emails in response, which indeed, simply did not answer my question.
Why is my storage total not being updated when I delete 19,000 emails?

Why do you make finding out about staorage so obfuscatory (hidden)?
It is impossible to find out where I am using storage (ie how much is in each FOLDER or category
I think this is ver deliberate in order to FORCE people to buy more storage undrr the THREAT of you seizing up their mailboxes.
TAntamount to blackmail?
Why can you not be like Apple – making everything clear and easy to find?
Its a pretty nasty way of doing business - especially since you siudenly rediuced from 1TB to 15Gb?
Your instructions don’t work – wheel to More Options – supposedly leads to STorage but does not.
I always favoured Yahoo as NOT being GOOGLE but not any more.
I feel trapped and helples having deleted reams of stuff right up to this years emailks and nearly all FOLDERS and still the same bloody message keeps coming up.
Congratulate your tech guys on their blackmail techniques, wont you? -

Can't access storage. Followed the instructions Settings>More Settings. There is no More Settings in Settings. Please advise.

I stopped using you years ago when you started purging my email history, which includes some very sensitive and important emails that I’ve had over the years, all deleted, no warning, nothing. You use my data as trash, unreliable, and disrespectful email partner. Never again.
To be clear, I am paying premium for both Apple cloud services and Gmail business services, so I’m the type of person who would pay for the email service to have storage, but your behavior was such a no-no that I never again wanted to use this garbage.

To whom this might concern,
Changes to Yahoo! Storage
=====================
Insufficient time to adapt and the lack of any working links to manage one's personal storage means I have finally switched over permanently to GMail, despite using Yahoo! Mail for decades, almost since its inception!Way to go, Yahoo! As with all your recent changes, shooting yourself in the foot ... again! The company has become quite adept at this - alongside particularly $hi7e Customer Service - it's no wonder the once market leader is now a mere bystander, a note in the annals of history of The Internet, when it could've been a leader.
What a fall from grace.
Food for thought ... as if any real person is ever going to read this.
Catharsis over.
Regards,
Mr. Crane.
PS The reason I'm posting here as it's almost impossible to contact Yahoo! any other way. Just think about that for a moment: it's almost impossible to contact ANYONE at Yahoo! FFS, just what is it that you guys think you are running? -

You need to allow customers to manage storage - not make a business opportunity from their inability to delete junk and then charge for additional storage - that is UN ETHICAL
